In the autumn of 2016, a group of bike nuts got together to create a brand new off road motorcycle racing club. Unsure of how well it would be received, they organised and promoted an "experimental" race in South Lincolnshire to hopefully attract a few of the local enduro riders. Little did they know how much success that first race was about to bring. Exactly a year on, the club has just had the 8th race in their debut year and gone back to the place that started it all for them, Tattershall village.
Listening to the views of riders and spectators alike, and looking at social media, it now appears to be every ones favourite venue. The club had not only taken several weeks to design the course but also utilised fellow rider Ben Harness's expertise to manufacture the extreme sections that were shoehorned into the 9 mile course. These sections saw riders being tested over logs, tyres, a couple of cars and even a caravan to ride through (Clarkson, May and Hammond would be very pleased with that one !!) These man made extreme sections are probably one of the main reasons why 163 riders turned up to break yet another club record.
Winners in each class were as follows...
The 9th and final round of the year is on November 5th. The venue is yet to be confirmed.
