Best E1/4 for Alex Snow of Warren's Heath

With a very early start in this years 2018 British Enduro championship it was undoubtedly going to be a little on the cold and wet side. After heavy rain and drizzle the day before the race, the riders were blessed with sun shine come Sunday morning, but a wet and challenging course still awaited them.

For the championship riders 5 laps awaited them, with 2 different special tests each lap consisting of 10 in total by the end of a hard 7 and a half hours in the saddle.

Buildbase Hondaís Alex Snow hit the stump riddled tests early on putting in some steady and constant times. Although the times were in the mix all day long, a couple of small mistakes hindered his progress but as riders were getting tired and tests more difficult Snow chipped away pushing him back up the order. Eventually finishing the day 7th overall and 1st in the E1 class.

With a long brake now until April when the majority of championship races kick start, Alex has plenty of time to work on some areas and do some testing to be where he would like going forward.

ďItís been a long hard day to say the least. They certainly broke us all in gently for the first one of the year. The tests were tricky but enjoyable apart from the swamp sections but you had to be on your toes all day, they was plenty of places to get stuck if you didnít make smart decisions that was for sure. Overall I felt like I rode ok but was a little disappointed with some of my test times. We have plenty of time now to improve before the next championship races so itís all positive from here. ď - Alex Snow
