2012 IOPD Doodson UK National Hare & Hounds Championship RideoffroadUK start the 2012 IOPD Doodson UK National Hare & Hounds Championship high on the Lancashire hills at the popular Lee Dell venue on February 5th. As we enter the fifth year of rideoffroadUK enduro events, we have included
two double header weekends where riders can earn double points, by riding two
separate scoring races, running on the Saturday and Sunday. Weather permitting, the course for Round 1 makes a welcome return to the east loop including the MX track and open moor land going. This outfield loop has not been used since August 2011. It always proves popular with riders giving lots of track to get going and open up on. With on going ground works at Lee Dell starting to take shape, Wayne Braybrook has yet another fresh new track in mind to keep riders on their toes. For Round one, until the clocks change, we will be running the Youth event on Sunday morning at 8.30am, this will be followed by the highly popular Sportsman, Beginner, Over50 and Ladies race starting at 10am. After a short break for results and presentation, the Expert, Over40 and Clubman riders will hit the dirt for 2.5 hours around the Lancashire hills. Camping available, non members are welcome, and day licences can be paid for on the day. Pre booking advised via http://rideoffroaduk.co.uk/events/ Or phone for any other details 07576 095137.
