Tension before the 2nd season run in Crimmitschau
The HardEnduroSeries Germany returns to Crimmitschau on Sunday, with a lot of tension at the top of the table
The big question for the Hardenduro Scene in Germany this week is, can Robert Scharl win another victory or is there a new winner for the season? More than 1 month has passed since the exciting season opener in Neuhaus-Schierschnitz. All drivers have recovered from the strains or race international. Things didn't go so well for the Dutch riders, at first Wesley Pittens injured himself so badly in a motocross race that he was even paralyzed. Fortunately, the Yamaha rider is already back on the road to recovery and rehabilitation. Last Friday was followed by the next setback in the family, his brother Thierry, at the start at the WESS kick-off in Portugal, also crashed and broke his shin and calf bone, in addition to a pulmonary embolism but he is also already up again.
So unfortunately two riders who would have had great ambitions for a top position are out of the race. So the fight for the top will again between Robert Scharl, Leon Hentschel, Tim Apolle and Blake Gutzeit.
Scharl is currently leading the table with a 3 points lead and has great chances again, already last year he got along well with the track in Crimmitschau and finished third behind Kevin Gallas and Leon Hentschel. This time the North German Hentschel has only one goal, finally his first overall victory in the HardEnduroSeries Germany.
Hentschel, Scharl and Tim Apolle will also be the favourites for the first time at Heaven or Hell Superenduro on Saturday evening. There they will meet Edward Hübner, the world championship pilot from Zweirad Sturm, who was in the Superenduro world championship for many years and will certainly attract many fans to the track on Saturday evening.
So we can be curious which of the 180 pilots will be on the winners list for the second race of the season. Details
