Central Wales Auto Club held their Kinnerton 2 Man Hare 'n Hounds in the Radnor Forest on Sunday 9th March. The going was very tough due to heavy rain on the previous day & on the morning of the event - leaving the ground saturated - but CoC Mark Vaughan was out & about with his staple gun & arrows to keep the event flowing. Passing snow flurries meant it was a day for jackets, then it wasn't, then it was. The Par Homes Honda team of Ashley Wood & Lee Edmondson (left) won the Premier with 15 laps of the 10 mile course. Cornishmen Tim Lewis & Jamie Paget were runners up. Andrew Edwards & Tim Foreman were 3rd. Only 7 minutes separated the top 3 teams after 4 hours. Robert Reece won the solo class ahead of Barry Furber. They completed 13 laps. Results Photos: Keith Bowen
Gethin Price comfortably won yesterday's CWAC Kinnerton Hare and Hounds which was run in the eastern side of Radnor Forest under unbroken skies. Hot sunshine was the order of the day. Gethin moved ahead in the early laps and from then on never looked to be in any trouble as he clicked up 16 laps, one lap ahead of second-placed Dave Brick. Photo available from Keith Bowen
Central Wales AC held their Team Hare and Hounds at the Haven, Lingen just over the border in Herefordshire on Sunday 9th April. The riders experienced every weather condition imaginable - hot sunshine, heavy rain, heavy hail, then snow. The hail caused the most problems as it began to make the lower sections of the course extremely difficult The event was run for just three hours, instead of four. Tom Knill & Gethin Price (photo left: Keith Bowen) were the eventual winners. Results Laptimes Photos
