a new team in the France championship enduro

Pozzor Yamaha Team - a man down on the eve of the opening of the French Enduro Championship

Champagne Mouton hosts this weekend's opening round of the French Enduro Championship. The first round will be marked by the absence of Romain DUMONTIER. He is suffering from a fracture of the medial malleolus after a crash during a training, Romain will be forced to skip this first round and the doctors have told him not to return to the bike before the end of May. If all goes well, he will return to competiton in time for the second round of the European Championship which will be held in Bar sur Seine.

Juliette BERREZ and Xavier de Soultrait will therefore be Pozzr Yamaha's only two representatives in Champagne Mouton. Juliet should perform well if his knee does not suffer too much. Xavier is fully fit and should get a place in the top 5.


In 2013 the paddock of the French Enduro Championship will be enhanced by a new presence. YAMAHA POZZOR will consist of 3 riders: Juliette Berrez, Romain Dumontier and Xavier de Soultrait. The team will be managed by Emmanuel Moreau and their first official meeting will be on 19th April at Champagne-Mouton.

Juliette Berrez - Cat Women

World Champion team in 2011, Juliette has big ambitions this season! She will attempt to get her first title as Champion of France, to appear in the Top 3 worldwide and be selected in the France team for the ISDE.

Juliet: "Last season I was penalized by a wrist injury. This year my motivation is boosted and the Yamaha is the ideal weapon. I'm ready to get my first title this season. Hopefully 2013 will be a significant step in my racing career!"

Roman Dumontier - Cat E2

After a brief time with Husqvarna in 2012, Romain has returned to the machine with which he completed an outstanding world championship in 2011. Roman this year will aim to get to the podium in the championship of France in E2, the premier class. The young Norman is also targetting the European title and results at the top of the World Championship.

Roman: "Last year I did not find my bearings. I found the feeling I had in 2011 with the Yamaha and the times that I've done since resuming workouts give me morale. Ideally the structure of the present championship of France is great, it makes it easier for us, we will not have to deal with logistical problems, it is good for concentration and driving! "
 
Xavier Soultrait - Cat E2

For him this is the year of transition between enduro and rally. Even if he has displayed excellent times between banners, Xavier eyes fixed on the Dakar 2014.

Xavier: "The 2013 program will be busier than ever! Between the championship of France, the World Championship, some classics and my first outing in Rally I might be pretty busy.
