2009 Ceri

Early spring sunshine warmed Mid Wales for the 2009 MWTRA Ceri Hare & Hounds. 84 riders signed on to tackle the 10 mile lap on solos, quads & sidecars. The Suzuki sponsored event was a round of the BESA Club & Quad Enduro Forestry Championship. The solos were given 4 hours, Expert Sidecars & Expert / Pro Quads 3 hours, Clubmen Sidecars & Clubmen / Beginner Quads 2.5 hours. 

Tim Forman was the winner of the solo ironman with 19 laps, a lap ahead of Charlie Evans in 2nd & David Lloyd- Jones in 3rd. Championship rider Ashley Wood retired after a heavy fall.

Most riders opted for the Billy no mates ironman class with only six team entries. B.Wooton & A.Fox kept pace with Tim Forman & also cracked up 19 laps to take the best team award.

The "Rowlands" won the Expert sidecars with 11 laps & the "Nevills" won the Clubman sidecars with 8 laps.
