Clatter Fun Trial and Hill Climb – Saturday
(Afternoon/Evening) 18th July
Edward Jones was crowned king of the hill by getting to the top and making it look easy, which it certainly wasn’t! Veteran Wyn Hughes and Lee Edmondson were 2nd and 3rd respectively, they both came to a stop just a few metes short of the top. (Rumour has it that Wyn had been seen resting ready for the hill climb in one of the trials sections, having a lie down!) Most riders seemed to enjoy the laid back and friendly format of this type of event, especially the bar and hog roast afterwards.

Dirt Bike club revived there fun trial and hill climb after a year off,
and run it as a fund raiser for the Welsh ISDE teams. Just under 40 riders
took the challenge, Weather on the day was good but the wet weather in the
build up to the event made it a bit on the challenging side for some! The
trial was won by Darren Williams a trials rider on a trials bike which
certainly made the job easier, on enduro and MX bikes they were a bit more
challenging as some found out, runner up and winner of the enduro class
was Lee Edmondson who only just beat off Rheinallt Davies for 3rd on
number of cleans after both dropping the same number marks.
