The Dirtbike-Traxs team returned to the Bolton By Bowland course for the last visit of the season to find the track in superb condition for the 7th round of the National Putoline Hare Scramble Championship, while some of the north of England had storms the Bolton area escaped with only a few showers on saturday night which dampened the dust,

The Dirtbike-Traxs crew had added in some loops to the already excellent course, including a technical section for the Experts only, This comprised of a sheep track which zig zagged up a steep hill followed by a gully to cross before finally descending on a steep off camber to rejoin the track Sunday morning was ideal for racing with the weather conditions dry and cool, This would allow the massive entry of over 300 riders to enjoy the feast of racing which was about to unfold.
