Track Side Reports: Electraction TM UK

Gordon Clarke at WEC Finland

13/14th June Report & Photo: Robert Lynn

Gordon made a welcome return to the WEC, having not ridden one since the final round in France last year. It was initially a bit of a baptism of fire for the Irishman but he gradually began to get into the swing of things and soon upped his pace on the special tests as the weekend wore on to score a 9th on Day 1 and 8th on Day 2 in E3. His most impressive performances came on the Extreme test where he was able to post some top 30 overall test times. It wasn't all plain sailing though was he unfortunately broke a rim lock on the first check on opening lap of Day 2 and was forced to ride the remainder of the lap with a spinning tire before changing it in the service check at the paddock.

The Electraction TM UK rider now looks forward to the following round of the WEC this weekend in Puchov, Slovakia.
