The freight train which is the UK's leading off road cross country series, The GBXC, returns to one of last years venues in the Midlands for the penultimate round of the championship.

With some classes still ready to have their champions confirmed a lot is to fight for and at Stake at the superb Ashby venue that will utilise a big interesting lap with woodlands and a special test area like the one that went down so well at the last round in South Wales.

A new announcement for the last 2 (6+7) rounds is the introduction of some prize money for the Pro's.
Basically a £1000 cash fund is up for grabs for the top 3 riders overall, per round, breaking down to £500 for the winner, £350 for runner up and £150 for the 3rd placed man. (Pro or pro lite riders qualify)

This is just a small change that the organisers feel again shows a commitment to profile and prestige for this championship and also rewards the superb Pro rider support that follows this championship around the country.

The other classes will not be forgotten though as at the presentation at the Dirt Bike Show later in the year Paul Ed and Steve I are going to secure some great product prizes and stuff to go with the riders prestigious class titles.

Entries are open for rd 6 at Ashby as you read this and the event is again expected to fill very fast.
