Spanish XC Championship - Round 2, Guadalajara

Another undisputed victory by Oriol Mena! The Husaberg rider etsablished himself as the series dominator with one round to go.
Despite the very tough conditions due to low temperatures and heavy rainfalls the Husaberg Factory rider Oriol Mena rose to a new level of domination at round 2 of the Spanish XC Championship in Guadalajara. Mena took the lead right from the start and never looked back for 30 laps on a course that had to be shortened due to some impassable mud pasages. Oriol won easily with a gap of almost five minutes ahead of second placed Joan Barreda who was the only other rider completing 30 laps. Already th e third placed rider was two laps down.

With this second victory in the second race and only one race to go Oriol put himself into the best possible position to defend his title and win this first national title of the 2010 season for himself and Husaberg. Of course this victory would give Oriol a boost in confidence ahead of the start of the Spanish Enduro Championship and the World Enduro Championship where he will be competing in the E3 class this year.
