Podium results for the Husaberg riders in
both E2 and E3 classes. Oriol Mena consolidates
second place in the E3 standings.
The Husaberg riders in the Spanish Enduro
Championship delivered another great
performance at the Enduro del Segre. This
classic is one of the most charismatic rounds
of the championship and has once again proven
it's uniqueness in terms of difficulty and
selectivity of tracks. Moreover, this edition of
the race was used by many Enduro World
Championship riders as preparation for the
EWC, kicking off in Spain on April 10th, which
made competition even tighter.
Under these circumstances the performance of the
Husaberg squad was even more impressive. Oriol
Mena scored second places in E3 on both days and
also made it onto the podium in the overall
results on day one, confirming his excellent form. With
these strong results Oriol consolidated his
2nd place in the E3 standings as well as 4th
position in the overall standings.
In E2, Xavier Galindo was joined by his Husaberg
Factory teammates Valtteri Salonen and Joakim
Ljunggren. On day one Galindo was able to keep
them at bay by scoring a 3rd place finish right in
front of Salonen and Ljunggren making it 3
Husabergs in the top 5. On day 2 Xavier Galindo
had to settle for 5th, right behind Salonen. These
results moved Xavier up to 3rd position in the E2
standings and to 5th overall.
