North of England Enduro Championship 2010

The clubs in the NEEC have been working hard to put together another great championship for 2010, Pirelli have come on board and will be providing help for the series as well as tape and other trackside accessories a big thanks to Chris Blomfield from Pirelli metzler for providing this support, the Neec has always been one of the best regional time card series in the country with its big northern forest offering big laps over varied terrain. The events are suitable for all abilities from sportsmen to championship with laps and times to suit each class. The classes are further split into capacity groups giving riders a greater chance of silverware. With 7 rounds of action all leading to the fantastic presentation night at the end of the year were the respective champions will be crowned.

The series kicks off on the 25th April with the Harwood enduro a venue that was last used nearly 20 years ago , so it was with a fresh canvas that Dirtbike-action have plotted a new 25 mile route around the forest with very little fire roads the route provides maximum off road going . The special test is located at the start and can easily be walked on the morning of the event.

On the 9th of may the series moves to langdale in north Yorkshire were the Ryedale club will host round 2 of the series this event is a firm favourite with the riders and usually fills quickly so get your entries in to avoid disappointment !!

There is a 2 month break until the series resumes in early July with the north riding enduro clubs stang enduro, And the at the end of the month the series only 2 day event "K2" the kielder 2 day run by dirtbike-action. September provides the final 2 rounds a return to langdale with the Ryedale club and the Yorkshire enduro clubs cropton enduro,

So for riders who have only rode in XC events why not try something different this year, the championship provides challenging riding on long course's for regular riders the championship and the course are being improved for up to date information http://www.enduro-neec.org.uk
