3-2-1 GO!

Britain's #1 all-encompassing off-road race event Dirt 3-2-1 is back this summer and this time there's even more going on for enduro racers. Happening over the weekend of July 31/August 1 at FatCat Motoparc in sunny South Yorkshire the event promises to bring together racers from all over the country to compete in four separate disciplines - motocross, supercross, endurocross and sprint enduro.

The action all kicks off on Saturday morning with the sprint enduro which will run to a similar format as the official British championship with riders racing against the clock around a circuit that's very similar to a time-card enduro special test. Each competitor will race the test between eight and 10 times on the day with all the times being added up to create an overall score. There'll be two classes available (Pro and Amateur) with awards being given to the leading riders in each group - trophies to the Clubmen and cash for the Pro group.

And there's even more enduro action on Saturday evening at Dirt 3-2-1 as endurocross returns to South Yorkshire for another barn-storming brawl around the FatCat endurocross circuit. Defending Dirt 3-2-1 champion Ben Hemingway will be back to defend the crown he won by beating Paul Bolton in a bar-to-bar battle after pre-event favourites Dougie Lampkin and Graham Jarvis hit trouble in the main event. We're expecting a similar scrap this year as both Pro and Clubman riders have the opportunity to battle through a supercross-style format of heats, semis and a last chance qualifier to reach the main event and win those all-important prizes.

As well as the enduro-based events Dirt 3-2-1 offers racers the opportunity to enter supercross and motocross events too with the highest overall scoring rider from the four disciplines in each class being crowned the King of Dirt. With a £1000 cash first prize on offer for the Pro class rider who takes the overall King of Dirt title the racing should be hotter than ever.

As well as on-track action Dirt 3-2-1 offers riders and fans an overall experience that can't be beaten and this year's event will have many extras including a trade village, off-road expo, bouncy castles, refreshments and a licensed bar plus the opportunity for newcomers to off-road motorcycle sport the chance to give it a go themselves for FREE courtesy of the Suzuki Test Ride team. Admission to Dirt 3-2-1 for spectators costs just £5 per person with 12s and under getting in for free.
