The presentation evening for the 2010 National Putoline Hare Scramble Championship award winners hosted by Dirtbike-Traxs and True Grit Off Road, took place on Saturday 20th November at the Dewsbury Rams Rugby Club. The night was a roaring success, with the huge function room almost filled to the maximum capacity with not only the 60 odd award winners and their families but also some of the regular riders who did not win anything this year, but came along to give their support to the 2 clubs. The Dirtbike-Traxs and True Grit Off Road teams put in a massive amount of time and effort to make the event a night to enjoy for all the family. With the boogying going on into the early hours, everyone who attended had fantastic time. Congratulations to all the award winners, from Little Ben Turner who took the Junior class overall 1st place trophy to the Demon Designs Racing sponsored rider David Wilson who walked away with the Expert Class overall 1st place trophy and promises to be back for the 2011 Championship to defend his title. The evening could not have gone ahead without the help of our main sponsor of the championship, Putoline Oils, who came up trumps again by kindly donating the prizes for the adult classes and Pro-Clean providing the prizes for the Youth and Ladies classes. We would also like to thank Dicki at DQ-MX for providing the trophies for the Senior B and Junior Classes and Gav at Bike Sport in Newcastle for providing the trophies for the Over 40s class. There were also some great prizes kindly donated by H & A Bells Ltd, Craigs Motorcycles, Moto Shack, Dennis Winter, DP Brakes and The Sign Shop. The season would not have been the great success it was without the continued assistance of the guys and girls behind the scenes, thanks to all the marshals and helpers who have given up their spare time to, firstly set up the courses and secondly to make sure the events run safely on the day. Preparations are well underway for next year's championship with some fantastic new venues and some great new sponsors coming onboard to make next year even better. Details for next year's championship will be on the Dirtbike-traxs and True Grit Off Road website very shortly along with the details of how to register for 2011.
