A Big Weekend for GasGas

GG Factory No.1 Rider Adam Raga finished a strong second place at the World Indoor X-Trial in Madrid . Adam is third in the Championship with the last round this coming weekend in Milan where he will be 100% focused to hopefully finish second overall in the Championship. Dougie Lampkin was in Madrid acting as Team Manager to help Adam.

No.1 JSTGGUK Rider Michael Brown finished 7th and unfortunately did not qualify for the final. Michael still managed to just beat Dibs by one mark and also has a one point advantage over Dabill in the Championship. Michael is training at the factory this week before Milan on Saturday where he hopes to keep his 7th position in the Championship. Trialscentral Trialmag

Back in the UK it was ‘The Tough One Extreme Enduro’. With Dougie Lampkin in Spain and Danny McCanney away training with David Knight it was left to GG Dealer supported GG Riders to fly the flag at this superb event near Rochdale .

Sandiford Offroad GG Rider Andy Cripps was the best GG in the main Pro race finishing 6th.

Jack Lee on his ‘John Lee & Sons’ CC300 finished on the podium in 3rd place in the Expert Class, 14th overall.

Josh Law (also Sandi GG) finished second in the Trials race and Ian Robinson from ‘Hawks Nest’ near Buxton also deserves a mention for finishing on the podium in 3rd place in the Trials race.

Bradley King (GGUK Enduro Rider) finished second at the popular ‘Brass Monkeys’ Enduro to a newly signed GAS GAS rider ‘Chris Dustow’. Chris has been signed by ‘Thor Motorcycles’ and took delivery of his new CC250 only last week. So congrats to Thor and Chris. Also well done to Brad for making it a GG ‘one-two’ in the event.

The UK’s best female Trials Riders were at Round 1 of their British Trials Championship at the Cheadle Staffs round and with the current British Champion Joanne Coles (Ace GAS GAS) announcing her retirement last year it was left to Hannah Styles to fly the JSTGG flag in the Top Women’s Class. It is Hannah’s first year in the women’s class and she finished a strong 4th place.

Nikita Smith (GAS GAS) easily won the girls B Class.

Thanks to Barry Robinson for the pic of Hannah.
