FIM Enduro Commission and the promoters of the Enduro World Championship visited Torres Vedras to recognize the premises where, in 2012, will take place the Portuguese round of the FIM Enduro Championship. Present in Torres Vedras the Chairman of the FIM Enduro Comission, Jean Guillaume Meiller, the championship's promoter Alain Blanchard and the Enduro's star, Giovanni Sala. The Italian pilot leaded this visit, in the capacity of inspector of all the championship tracks and enhanced, "I rather appreciate the fact that this round has lots of Single Track. I think that the Extreme Test will be very attractive too and, in case the course was not too much bending, the public will attend a great show. I also like the Enduro Test and Cross Test because they are near and I regard that some aspects of the course are dazzling. The good accesses to the specials will be, undoubted, a major contribution to turn the Portuguese round in a successful event", said the Italian pilot, six times Enduro World Champion and recently rewarded with the prize FIM Legend. The promoter Alain Blanchard, remained very pleased with the round' structure
and emphasized the excellence of the course and paddock's organization.
"The general conditions of this round pleased me very much. The paddock, a
very important space in this kind of events, has exceptional conditions and the
super specials that will take place in the first and second days, are a surplus
value too, mainly because they are close to the paddock." |
