The eleven mile course of mixed going with a long and technical special test was bathed in glorious sunshine which attracts many tourist to Cornwall in the summer but this wasn't going to be a holiday for the 120 riders as the terrain gradually wore many of them down. The Championship class faced 8 laps and four special test, Gasgas mounted Chris Dustow comfortably took the win with consistent test times which only varied by 8 seconds from Suzuki rider Nick Life who was down on power and seriously hampered after colliding with a stump and flattening his exhaust pipe, Richard Tucker riding a KTM was third and Shaun Martin on a Gasgas fourth.
In the Expert Over 35's Charlie Richards victory was made even more impressive as he rode the last two laps minus his rear brake calliper which had been ripped off his KTM. Second place just went to Andrew Pownall on a Gasgas with Yamaha mounted Richard Jay only 2 seconds behind after 4 special test in third.
In E2 Peter Wilson riding a CR250 took a narrow win from Daniel Richards and Richard Philp, both KTM mounted with Kevin Martin on a TM fourth. Scott Medlyn took a comfortable win in E3 from Martin Froggatt and Trevor Nation, all KTM mounted.
