Fast Eddy's Rock Oil XC Championship.

The first round of the new Rock Oil XC Championship, organised by fasteddyracing.com, gets underway this coming weekend at Bicton near Shrewsbury. Although delayed slightly by inclement weather over the last couple of weeks this new series looks set to be very popular indeed with some excellent venues already confirmed over the coming months.

The first venue, Bicton, provides riders with a variety of challenges and terrain. Part of the course will encompass a MX track, which has been graded in readiness for the event but there will also be a woodland section and a handful of banks providing manageable climbs and descents for all competitors. Postcode for the venue is SY3 8EU, which will be signposted from the A5 at Shrewsbury.

Sunday begins with a Youth race followed by two Adult races. 9.00am to 10.30am. Youth race - Auto, 65cc, SW 85cc, BW85-150cc & XC Girls. 10.30am to 12.30pm.
