MID WALES XC CHAMPIONSHIPSaints Well, Bwlch yr sarnau, Rhayader - 14th February Jon Hinam was the winner of the 1st round of the Mid Wales XC Championship at Saints Well, Bwlch yr sarnau, Rhayader on Valentine's Day. The event was organised by Lee Edmondson with the assisted of his brother Paul's Fast Eddy Racing team. A hard frost on the 30th January made the course to hard for safety & the team made the difficult decision to postpone the event. The 2 weeks delay brought a winter sun warm enough for early spring. 22 year old Kiwi Rory Mead from Whitby near Wellington was the runner up. Rory has traveled half way round the World to compete in the BEC Muntjac & the European extreme enduros. Jamie Paget was 3rd. Charlie Evans clocked up 18 laps but he was not classified as a finisher. Jon Hill was the winner of the morning Youth race. Harland White was the runner up & Liam Phillips was 3rd. All 3 riders clocked up 12 laps. Danny Morris was 4th. Adam James in 5th was the best BW85 & Jack Edmondson in 6th was the best SW85. Results: AM class overall PM class overall - Photos 2010 MID WALES XC CHAMPIONSHIP Lee Edmondson will be organising a 4 round Mid Wales based XC series in 2010. Lee will be working closely with hugely experienced Putoline Fast Eddy XC championship team
There will be kids in the morning from 10.00 til 11.30 - classes are autos, 65cc, s/w 85, b/w 85, 125cc cost £30 In the afternoon there will be adults from 12.00 til 14.30 - classes are expert, clubman, sportsman, vets 40+ cost £40 all events will have transponder timing, Awards for top 3 in each class all events More info call 07969242479 |
