TEAM
REME 6 Hour Ironman and Team Enduro
Bagshot 20-10-2013
A night of heavy rain and a seriously heavy shower in the morning was
not what Team REME ordered which made a long and quite technical lap a
bit more testing and enduring but then again Team REME never skimp on
trying to make a testing but enjoyable lap.
Ironman Expert
Royal Engineer Tom Ellwood got off to a great start and was very much
the inform rider with incredible consistency lap after lap to take
victory with 12 laps, 2nd was Enduro legend and Guru Danny Hall who
travelled up from deepest Dorset excelled in conditions he loves and
showed no signs of being rusty due to long layoff through injury and
operation and made some of the gnarly stuff look like a walk in the
park, 3rd another Royal Engineer Jake Purcell who again was consistent
and looked very much like he was enjoying the testing conditions.
Ironman Clubman
One very happy Michael Toussaint who not only won the Clubman Class but
did an extra 2/3's of a lap due to not seeing a marker but true to
Michael's character he dug deep and simply get plugging away and a very
much deserved victory, Shaggy Mulliner immaculately presented kit and
bike as usual and not really a lover of conditions today seemed to be
enjoying every minute going by his body language and is not known for
his endurance so a top earned podium for the Dorset rider, 3rd and no
stranger to extreme or testing conditions was Matt Hubbard.
Expert Enduro Team
A great time of Daniel Beaven and Adz Smith had the victory written all
over it and what a great start with Adz pulling away from everyone else
but as like the rest of the season Adz seems to get lots of luck..... in
the form of Bad Luck and jinxed with bike problems but managed to hand
over to Daniel who loved the conditions but sadly Adz bike down again
after posting fastest lap of the day and with some quality pairings all
in the hunt it was the much travelled legend and legend to be Si and
Llewelyn Pavey who took the lead and very much a contrast of styles with
Si being very smooth and precise and Llewelyn being fast and a touch
mental which was entertaining for me at least and their joint qualities
gave them victory by a small margin over Brad and Paul Armstrong who
very much gelled today and was good to see a much disillusioned Brad not
only enjoying but hopefully getting his Enduro Mojo back, 3rd went to
Steve White and Elliot Davies who very much like the other podium teams
are so very different in styles yet complement each other and with both
not being the biggest fans of conditions it was good to see them digging
deep as not to let the team down.
Veteran Enduro Team
Carl Hutchinson and Mark Skevington took victory with 9 laps and fastest
lap in class, Martin and Alan Turner were very much on their heels but
bike problems slowed their progress but with 8 laps got runners up with
the comedy duo of Wayne Barnett and Dave Fromling taking the final
podium with Dave doing majority of laps.
Clubman Enduro Team
I know very little about Chris Doney and James Honour except they were
very quick and worked well as a team to take victory with 11 laps but
were pushed to the very end by Graham and Niles Reid whose experience in
these conditions showed and both will be very happy with result and
times, 3rd were the very quick and talented teenagers in the guise of
Felix Warren and Adam Brady whom showed great determination and
resilience for such youngsters.
Sportsman Enduro Team
8 laps by Tim Houlihan and Tim Ennett who are genuine Sportsman riders
is a superb result and great teamwork, Emily Hall and Ross Curtis took
runners up spot and with Emily being the only girl rider who like her
Dad Danny digs in and gets the job done, 3rd Mark Harrison and Ally Mann
with 6 laps.

REME
Summer Evening Enduro Series
RD 2 Bagshot 05-06-13 Report Richard Troth
What a beautiful Wednesday summer evening at Bagshot for round 2 of
the REME evening enduro championships, a 4 mile loop that had some tight
naggery bits but also had some fast flowing sections for the 90 plus
riders.
Expert Class
Daryl Bolter (Team Crescent Racing KTM) by his own admission had a bad
weekend at the last British Sprint Enduro round which was basically his
fault playing around with settings etc and as Daryl’s states “I
should have known better, especially with my experience and knowledge”,
so tonight we had a Bolter who was a tad frustrated and angry with
himself that he wanted to go out and win in a professional manner, well
that may have been the case but in reality i saw a pissed off Bolter
that wasn’t taking any prisoners and simply showed us all “The Wild
Side of Bolter” that took victory with 13 scorching laps coming from
last off the start, Team Mate Steve Holcombe (Team Crescent Racing KTM)
took the early lead and looked seriously fast but within a lap Bolter
was putting pressure on and took the lead which he held to the end,
Steve held on to second for a 1 – 2 for Team Crescent Racing KTM,
James Jackman had a bit of a lonely evening most of the time and was
very much 3rd all evening but managed to match Bolter and Holcombe in 13
laps completed, Dan Beaven 4th whom for years has worn same helmet and
kit and now this new look baffles me every time but never less a good
solid ride from Dan, 5th Christian Cole from the Welsh Guards, 6th Roger
Frean who looked very different tonight and then i realised his pet Dave
Downes was not with him, when asked where he was i was quite shocked
that Dave was under house arrest and that his boss and master had put
her foot firmly down and that there was to be no more playing with Roger
midweek, although Roger managed 6th which was in my opinion a good
result in such company but every time he went passed i could hear his
chuckle and with the rattling voodoo doll of Beth on his handlebars it
must have affected his concentration, 7th Dave Coles who did a sterling
job with 11 laps completed, 8th was Sean Holdway who looked a very
lively competitor for early laps but then seemed to get bored or
something did not look right, 9th was Tristan Robinson who to me looked
fantastic, fast and committed and very much gelled with the loop and is
now finding his feet since joining the Expert Class, finishing off the
top 10 was Jack Harris who completed 11 laps, Teamsnapper’s Brad
Armstrong pulled off early as he could not get into the swing of it and
his concentration was low and pulled off to at least fight another day,
plus he is pissed off as his Dad Paul earlier in the day was “Living
The Dream”.
Veteran Class
Teamsnapper’s Paul Armstrong earlier in the day had stated “He Was
Living the Dream” so this class win will probably send him to Utopia
again, No denying The Butt Plug lover Paul’s victory in a very
talented class in which he had a great battle with a very much
rejuvenated Wayne Player 2nd place who is very much knocking on Paul’s
back door (oh..er.. madam ) , 3rd was Tom Moore who really was at the
races today and without a doubt the best he has ridden for over 18
months and was in touch with leaders at the end, Jez Moss was 4th with
as always an intelligent ride and very much a rider who has great
observational skills in finding ways past people and not into the follow
the racing line, 5th on the Enduro Tyres KTM was Al Ranger who was
riding a 300 for the first time and very much liked but as he said it
was a learning curve tonight but great result with same 11 laps
completed as leaders, Martin Turner missed out on 11 laps by a few
seconds but a solid ride and 6th spot and who knows he may become a full
time enduro rider as from body language he very much enjoys, 7th
Teamsnapper rider Jem Rowe who looked great as he always does and very
much a dream rider for us snappers never seems to get the result he
deserves, 8th Kevin O’Reordan with 10 laps completed, 9th Ian Wilson
on the very dark satanical looking steed (It’s black ok ) who very
much gelled with the loop and looked happy out there, Dangerous Dave
Alexander on his BMW put in a sterling performance in his first event
for many many months as been out with shoulder injury and problems
related to that and i bet he is feeling it today, Geoff Grimes 11th, and
another luckless ride for Manny Bernardez with only 4 laps
completed....... would you like some fire lighters and a match Manny ?
Clubman Class
I did warn you all about Brad Wharton ... and what a result for the
newcomer in the Clubman Class, fast no nonsense rider but equally
respectful of slower riders.... go Brad go, 2nd for Darren Perry who
looked very much a live wire tonight and definitely a more positive
committed rider since going to the colour orange, 3rd Teamsnappers Aaron
Dibnah is another rider who very much upped his game tonight and gelled
from lap one and to be honest did not put a foot wrong all evening, 4th
Elliot Croft 11 laps completed, 5th Macies Berdyz 10 laps completed, 6th
and one of the happiest faces out there my good friend John (JB) Brown
who has been out with injury and that for JB was hard to swallow as such
purist and lover of the sport and competes every weekend if there is an
event on and to see him dancing on the bike tonight even made me smile,
7th Chris Welch who made a great start and will be well happy with top
10 in this company, 8th to Paul Duffy who was top 5 for ages so not
quite sure what happened there but looked fast and confident, 9th was
Ian Mace who sorts of tags on to riders and has some great battles/races
within the event and is always good to watch, making the top 10 was John
Wilkinson who travelled all the way down from West Yorkshire, 11th was
Luke Fletcher whom looked really fast albeit a bit out of control most
of the time but 10/10 for entertainment value and am surprised not top 3
in class, 12th Alex Mace who did not look happy until lap 3 or 4 and
then his body language changed and he seemed happier, 13th and another
solid performance for Justin Denn who is also looking very fit himself
in his preparation for Romaniacs later in year as does his team mate and
good friend Seb Chilvers 17th place , Matt Lawrence the boy in blue 14th
place, Tim Thurgood 15th with 10 laps completed, Royal Engineer Craig
Turner 16th completed 10 laps and looked happy out there on his return
to Bagshot after many a year has passed, LFB rider Matt Alexander will
be happy with 10 laps and beating fellow LFB rider and friend Pete
Stewart who completed 8 laps, Diccon Dadey completed 10 laps, What a
sight for sore eyes in the guise of Donna Gray who was here along with
fellow Torque Racing/Rally Raid products team mate John Mitchinson who
were both using this as a training event for the Welsh and Trans
Anatolian rally held in Turkey in August of which we wish you both good
luck, both had a very productive starts with John completing 5 laps and
Donna 9, Rob Mussell from the famed Wood’s Butchers North Camp had a
productive un-self destruct ride and was smiling so good day for Rob,
Tony Campbell 9 laps completed, Kev Gurr 9 laps completed, Teamsnapper
rider Tim Lunn 9 laps completed but more importantly happier than last
time i saw him at Croydon event also big thanks from TS for awesome
graphics, i have a deep feeling that Dave Ford is having an affair with
Kaka as over the years he has on many occasion has come very close to
running me over as he did here.... you can have her Dave lol, The Mad
Russian Oleg Savochkin completed 8 laps, Big John Anderson had an early
night retiring after 3 laps.
Sportsman Class
Not content with stealing my limelight by debuting The JT Racing
Dalmatian race kit before me including helmet but now wearing that kit
he wins the class outright by 1 more lap than anyone else WOOF WOOF
...... am i bothered .... YES ;-) 2nd was Mike Bentley with 9 laps, 3rd
and a cracking ride from Tim Ennet with 9 laps, 4th REME rider Jamie
Holloman whose bike sounded 100% better than last time also with 9 laps,
5th Daren Mason whom will be chuffed with that top 5, 6th Jon Bird who
is still smirking after getting one up on mate and Teamsnapper rider
Rich (What excuse now) Truscott who was running up front but sadly
finished down in 8th, Dave Thackray AKA Thackers not only got away from
the start on the green peril but managed 9 laps and finished the
event..... not to mention a Top 10 placing.....although sadly there is
an enquiry due to this being more like myth and folk lore and there is
some finger pointing going on saying he was being towed round by an
invisible force..... more believable than a KX finishing an enduro,
Welsh Guard David Scarf 9th with a good solid no nonsense ride, 10th Ben
Adams with 9 laps, Teamsnapper rider Steve Dyke just out of the top 10
which knowing Steve he will be a tad disappointed but will take out the
positives to progress....... Steve there are NO positives and you rode
like a girl, pull yourself together and regroup or is simply a case of
you can’t ride without Wayne Tame hee hee .... love the nose diving
mate as they don’t come much closer to going over than that mate, Greg
Wheeler 8 completed laps which is great result as was his and Graham Cox
first event, Dean Hughes from the Welsh Guards completed 8 laps and did
not look as happy this evening with the course, Ian Scott had a
consistent ride and completed 8 laps as did James Presnail , Ollie Ross
started well but had a couple of poor laps towards the end but still
completed 8 laps, Nick Summer posted a finish which is pretty much
unbelievable considering his bad luck on that orange thing of his.....
however he was on borrowed machinery from Nick Rumble tonight, Tom
Campell of the Welsh Guards completed 8 laps, Kev Wells did not look a
happy bunny out there at all , Tim Carmichael could have done more laps
but the very chilled Tim was that chilled tonight he stopped and had
quick chat before carrying on, Dave DS Shaw did ok with 7 laps but is
still in hospital recovering after hearing the rumour about Thackers KX
finishing an event, TS wish you a speedy recovery DS.
A great evening Team REME ...... Thank you

Bolter
took the victory on the Crescent Racing KTM
at RD1 of the REME Summer Series at Slab Common
As always Team REME put on a great event at Slab Common, despite some
heavy rainfall the day and night before the ground was not as bad as
people imagined and help up well albeit some very deep sand in places
that required lots of right hand to get through if you dared otherwise
paddling them legs was the other choice. A grid of nearly 100 riders is
fantastic for a midweek evening event; the lap was 3.5 miles and 2 hours
duration.
Expert Class
No doubting the winner who was simply outstanding on the Crescent Racing
KTM Daryl Bolter and very much controlled the race by easing back and
upping the pace depending on how much he was leading by, Top Motocross
rider Scott Elderfield was in hot pursuit but pulled out early which
left James Jackman the task of catching Bolter but try he did but
tonight was definitely Bolters with Jacko second, both did 13 laps, 3rd
was Dave Downes on a very different steed than his usual KTM but it
seemed like the pair were matched well so maybe the future looks Blue in
the name of Yamaha, 4th was Chris Pratt, 5th RLC rider Kalem Hicks who
does like the conditions when a tad tricky, David Biles looked very fast
and was top 3 for a while but finished 6th, Super poser and wanna be
playboy was Teamsnapper Rider Elliot Davies who was modelling his very
flash new kit and helmet was 7th, 8th was Ben Wibberley who looked
happier as the event wore on but was class act in the deep sand,
Llewelyn Pavey travelled all the way from Wales with Dad Si and showed
us what the new Beta was capable of and was running up the pointed end
early on, Teamsnapper rider Dan Alldred was also flying and looked as
happy as a pig in shit but ended up just making the top 10, Dave Coles
was his ever Mr Consistent no matter what terrain or conditions and has
that very laid back make it look easy style, Roger Frean was flying and
i mean literally whether over the jumps or the bars on a couple of
occasions and probably more angry that his pal Dave “The Clown”
Downes beat him...... revenge is sweet, Teamsnappers Brad “Oh My
God.... My Bike is Dirty” Armstrong whom i am sure is not Paul “The
Gladiator” Armstrongs son (mix up on the maternity ward) completed 11
laps but could have made 12 with a bit more effort but when asked at the
end he blamed his lovely wife Rachel for his lack lustre performance due
to her night time requirements, Welsh Guards rider Christian Cole
started well but waned towards the end, not sure what happened to Sean
Holdaway as looked comfortable and was a lot faster than his finishing
position, I thought Aaron Smith on the big 500 Midwest Husaberg would
have been top 3 as the big berg would be at home in the deep sand and
Aaron is a master of tricky conditions and it looked like things were
going to plan as was in top 3 for a while but finished out of the top 10
but not sure why, Tom Harbon completed 10 laps.
Veteran Class
My forecast for this class was the very in form Mark Kirby but true to
form The Kirbinator did have his usual tally of crashes and tree hitting
and came home 3rd, Jason Morris whom i know nothing about was 2nd but
the winner whom had not ridden Enduro for many years and the last time
he was at Slab Common was 17 years ago and rode like he had never
stopped and to win on his comeback ride in front of his Dad and son was
monumental.... i salute Endurotyres.com rider Al Ranger, Teamsnapper
rider Chris Stanger whom started last with Paul “The Warrior”
Armstrong after both playing the game of “Bounce off the trees”
where the tree always wins but they both battled with each other and
Chris takes this personal battle win with 4th and Paul 6th, 7th was
Teamsnappers Manny Bernadez who dug deep and battled to the end and be
pleased with result in group with such fast riders and as long as his
not so trusted Yamaha keeps going Manny will always post a finish, Dave
Salkeld was 7th and looked a lot happier in the wooded areas than the
deep sand but as event wore on he seemed to master the deep sand, Si
Pavey was on a very different bike and a 2 stroke at that but not sure
whether the colour orange will be permanent completed 10 laps for 8th,
Jez Moss looked far better than 9th so maybe had problem, Tom Moore rode
well if you call being out of control 90% of the time and scraped into
the top 10, Wayne Player did not look happy at all out there and has
been very much under the weather recently, Martin Turner whom i presume
is a motocrosser as very fast and exciting but looked quite jaded
towards the end, Carl Hutchings completed 10 laps, Teamsnapper rider Jem
Rowe just missed out on 10 laps and showed some of his great style but
did look tired towards the end, Ian Mace took a while to adjust to the
conditions and if it had been a 3 hour event he would have climbed
higher, James Corneloues was his ever graceful always in control style
that i love completed 9 laps in his first outing as a veteran, The very
tall and unmissable figure of George Dennison on the Motoden Honda
completed 9 laps, Mark Skevington 8 laps.
Clubman Class
Yet another win to his tally this season for Teamsnapper rider
James(JP)Pittaway on his new Yamaha 125 which is really looking like the
pairing is a very good match but JP was kept honest by the most
entertaining rider of the event the very talented Teamsnapper rider
Oliver Macrae who simply has no fear and most definitely has a career in
Freestyle MX and the X Games, 3rd and a superb ride from Superteen Josh
Kirby who is simply shocking many since his move up to 250 from the 150
and i did not think the conditions would suit him but yet again he
proves me wrong, 4th Maciej Berdsyz with a very good honest ride, 5th
another superteen having a great season so far was Barney Thurgood, 6th
to Brad Wharton in his first ride as clubman after dominating the
sportsman class last year is showing he can make the top ten in the
class and i promise he will improve with each outing, 7th LFB rider Iain”Judsy”Judkins
who was visibly enjoying himself on the beautiful Sherco and his only
downfall to previous seasons is lack of bike time due to other
commitments, 8th Paul Duffy who is definitely showing better fitness due
to riding more frequently, 9th Chris Smith, 10th Tim Thurgood whom is
getting better and better the more he rides and has nice text book style
of riding and i feel he could easy make top 5 if he carries on like
this, finishing off the top 10 is PMCRC very own you tube star but at
least here he did not holeshot and crash causing chaos behind, young
Alex Mace had to work his little Yam hard in the deep sand sounding like
a cat on acid for 11th, Lee Boulden completed 9 laps, Royal Engineer
Craig”Totally Mental”Turner was fast and furious and his finishing
position puzzles me but knowing Craigs style he probably bounced off a
few trees, Top Roadracer and ex rival of mine from the glory days of
tarmac was Superbike Magazines very own Chris Northover on the big
Husaberg who looked happy in the difficult conditions and posted 9 laps,
The very stylish airborne happy Paul Cook also completed 9 laps as did
my good friend Bruno Studley on his Yamaha, RLC rider Richard Penfold
completed 9 laps but scored a 10/10 for his acrobatic display that
finished with him eating sand, The mad Russian Oleg Savochkin posted 9
laps as did Matt Hubbard who started very apprehensively but once
settled he made up time, Gary Ruddick completed 8 laps despite nearly
pulling out with sickness and it was only his stubbornness that made him
ride, Brett Hohls posted 8 laps, Welsh Guard Frankie Beamand looked a
lot happier on the wooded parts than the deep slab sand and posted a
finish with 8 laps, Teamsnapper rider Kev Miller did what he set out to
do and that was finish and at the end he was definitely finished and
needs to ride more often, Wayne Tame had disaster as so looked out of
sorts until he pulled in thinking something was not right with his
bike... bring on Tristan Robinson to fiddle and Wayne was flying but
sadly a bit too late in the day to make an impact, Luke Fletcher had
bike problems and pulled in after 3 laps,.
Sportsman Class
Jack Harris won the Sportsman Class with a Clubman top 2 ...enough said,
Welsh Guard Dean Hughes rode well with 10 laps and runners up spot with
fellow Welsh Guard David Scarf finishing off the podium with 9 laps,
Rich Truscott 4th which he will be pleased as first event back after
shoulder injury, Rodney Crowden 5th which was a great result as very
rarely rides, Nick Summers posts yet another finish on the troublesome
orange steed with 9 laps, Stewart Liming posted a finish with 9 laps but
looked far quicker than his finishing postion of 8th as did Kev Wells
whom looked very comfortable out there, Teamsnapper rider Steve Dyke on
the massive Husky looked as happy as do eating dog shit sandwiches but
still managed a grin or maybe it was a grimace but i did later find out
he had lost his rear brake on first lap but nether less posted 7 laps of
hell, DS aka David Shaw had a ball and just enjoys his time in the sand,
so maybe bring a bucket and spade next time DS, Ben Lewis posted a
finish and 7 laps on his new Husaberg and he looks happier on the new
steed than the old one despite his habit of checking the front mudguard,
Jamie Holloman rode well but an out of tune bike held him back as he
battled more with the bike than the sand, Barry John had a DNF but
looked good whilst out on course, Tom Campbell also posted a DNF but the
wooden spoon sadly goes to Thackers (Dave Thackray) who was left at the
start in a roost of sand and no matter how hard he tried he could not
get the old girl started although i have a conspiracy theory that DS
sabotaged to get the personal battle win.
A great evening and great event that was well organised, Round 2 is at
bags hot on the Wednesday evening 5th June... see ya there.

An update from TEAM-REME 6hr Race 3rd March 2013
Approx 2 hr’s into the 6 hr event a competitor suffered a heart attack
approx 100m from the pits.
Marshals and a fellow competitor (a Doctor who was racing) were with him
within 30 sec and performed CPR to keep him alive.
St Johns joined them and continued CPR for nearly 10 mins and used an
auto de-fib machine. They managed to get a pulse and breathing.
He was taken to Frimley Park hospital where he is in ICU.
Today (Wed 6th) he has woken up talking and recognising friends and
family. He still has a long way to recover but this is an amazing step
forward.
Thanks to all competitors for being so understanding when we cancelled
the race and the days following.
Team REME would like to mention how professional the St Johns crew and
all the Marshals were during this situation and a massive thank you to
the doctor that helped.
From all at Team REME.
Team
REME Enduro Hogmoor Enclosure 27-01-2013
As usual the REME Army Team put on a great event with great
organisation in what turned out to be a very hard event as the course
deteriorated as the event wore and the pain was etched not only on man
but also machine and many finished without brakes due to the wet deep
sand and its abrasion effect.
Expert Class
Kev Murray who has not ridden in over 2 years due to work commitments
made a very bold statement for the coming season today “I’m Back”
with class and overall victory and although pushed by Arran Poolman
until Arran retired earlier and the wee Scott Altass pursued and
strangled his 125 KTM to within an inch of its life but could not match
Kev but made 2nd place his, 3rd went to Andrew Bull whom we don’t see
that often but once he found his feet in the sand he looked happy and
content albeit knackered, 4th went to Kyle Jacobs whom i know nothing
about but has one of those accents that makes you look at his hands to
see how many fingers he has but never less he can ride and look forward
to seeing him again, 5th went to my good friend and part time Comedian
the ever smiling cheerful Dave Downes who battled all day and rode
superb and was supported by brother and bird Beth who spent most of the
day building sandcastles, Team REME rider Craig Altass was 6th and did
not seem like he was having fun by the look of his clenched teeth as he
whizzed on by each lap or maybe he just has a dental problem, Max Varney
DNF due to the new 250 Yamaha being too powerful for him.... only
kidding Max was riding well until chaine buggered off.
Veteran Class
Jason Morris, Kevin Reordan and Steve White battled all day with all
completing 10 laps and not a lot separated them but the sheer aggression
of Jason gave him the victory with Kevin taking second and Steve a very
close 3rd, i expected more from Steve as youngest veteran out there
although not the slimmest or fittest and then to say he wore his brakes
down to nothing, well Steve my friend you don’t need brakes at your
speed, 4th went to a very enthusiastic Richard Benham whom used to ride
as regular as clockwork and hopefully after this we will see more of
although his brother Gary who was also riding and riding well until he
started thinking about that TV programme about Diving with Tom Daley
called Splash as when Gary did a treble pike over the bars and into the
icy water it was game over although i did mark him an 8/10 would have
been higher but legs were slightly apart.
Clubman Class
Tristan Robinson has recently found a great vane of great results
recently and looks a very different rider from 12mths ago, he looks
heavier and fitter so maybe that has made the difference as a great
victory here with James DeMerist coming 2nd who did all he could to
chase Tristan but the little 125 struggled at times in the deep wet sand
and it being throttled to its near death, 3rd went to Matthew Joyce, 4th
Tom Harbon, 5th Richard Ball, 6th to the mean green machine rider Tom
Kear who rides like he is being chased by the law as all right hand and
big balls but it works and great to watch, Adam Playford 8th travelled
all the way from Norwich for this event and it never ceases to amaze me
what people will do to get out of Norwich for the day, only kidding Adam
but having visited Norwich once i felt it was full of odd folk if you
get my drift lol, great ride Adam and hope you enjoyed and be good to
see you on the SEEC circuit, Matt Hubbard 9th not long back from The
Tough One and Enduro X and Docklands must have found this quite tame as
he fell off in front of me (Only Joking Matt), John Brown was relishing
in the conditions until he broke his bike... oops i mean his wifes bike,
Barry Keeys was there despite popular belief he wasn’t but he has
become the one lap wonder and i wonder whether he actually does do one
lap lol, only joking Barry... no I’m not, get your bike maintained
properly and stop taking advice from Steve White.
Sportsman Class
Luke Fletcher is one to watch for the future as he one of the new Team
REME development riders and with 10 laps to take victory sure proves
Team REME have a great training/schooling regime which in reality they
beat him daily to within an inch of his life and told to win as when he
left the start line he was off like a scolded cat and no mother was
going to catch him, 2nd to Macies Berdysz with 9 laps and 3rd went to
Mick Parsons who also needs diving lessons as his double twist pike was
a mere 6/10 but his reaction to another bike about to hit him was 10/10,
James Hyde was 4th who is another Team REME development rider is now in
solitary confinement due to not finishing on the podium despite all his
efforts saying that “He was tired”, 5th went to Rob Giles who rode
as only Rob rides which to watch can only be described as painful but
never less he always gets results, go Rob go, 6th went to Ian Griffiths
who has the most pained expression on his face when he rides and i dread
to think what he looks like on the vinegar stroke (Mrs Griffiths please
mail me as i need to know lol), Rich Truscott needs to stop drinking all
that beer the night before an event as it felt like i was on a brewery
tour every time he passed which in fact wasn’t that often (Only Joking
Rich), Biker FM DJ Dave Mears with pink bike came and conquered Hogmoor
and readily admits the tougher the event the harder he gets well he had
a stiffy to be proud of as he rode well but chased hard by the green
gremlin and good friend Dean Robinson, Nick Rumble is fast for 20 yards
then falls off, fast again for 20 yards and off again, it’s like
Groundhog Day watching him but funnier, was good to see a new face (well
new to me) in Andrew Seymour who not only took a lot of Hogmoor home
with him but also ate a fair bit of the stuff.
