Paul Edmondson rides at Lochhouses again

Paul Edmondson has entered the Metzeler Melville Hare and Hound at Lochhhouses farm near Dunbar East Lothian on Sunday the 13th December. This is the third year that Paul has attended this event giving the Scottish riders a chance to ride with the great man himself. Paul is a four times world champion and recently became the most successful rider ever at the ISDE in Portugal; it will be a great honour to welcome him back to Scotland.

Neil Chatham on his Drysdale Suzuki and D3 racing Murray Thomson on his KTM are battling it out at the top of the table with Grant Smith who has recently returned from Portugal as a member of the successful Scottish ISDE Team.

The Metzeler Melville Hare and Hound is the last round of the 2009 Melville Cross Country Championship and this year it is also the second round of the newly established Scottish Hare and Hound Championship.

Last year 200 riders took part as this race proved very popular as an end of year outing. The course consists of three large sandy fields and a wood that gives a 14 minute lap time. There will also be a 2 hour Motocross class held within the event that avoids the woods. The sandy terrain means the event usually runs despite the weather.
