STOLEN KTM SX 150 2011

The Thieves are amongst us yet again people.

On Sunday 10th February 2013, Total Enduro ran an event at Westwood, nr Sheffield. At the end of the adult race one of the riders, Stephen Heinz, parked his KTM SX 150 next to his bike trailer in the centre of the parking area. He left the bike unattended for only a few minutes to retrieved his tools from the pits. He came back to find his bike had been taken by theiving scumbags to say the least. The bike is quite unique. It has several features, one of which is a bracket that was welded on to the frame for a side stand. The chassis number is,

VBKMXJ231BM157301 & ENGINE NUMBER 0151568356

The approx value of the bike is £4000 and Stephen would really appreciate any information leading to its return.

Any information leading to the bikes recovery would be treated in the strictes confidence. Someone will know where this bike is. Please do the right thing and act on what you know. Remember it might be your bike next time being taken from behind your back. Any information please to Ian Robinson text 07702508109 or email rob99@tiscali.co.uk

Stolen KTM Bikes - Basingstoke

Please all keep an eye out for my two bikes that were stolen last night from my locked garage (18th June 2012). They are an orange KTM 525XC Desert Racer and a KTM 990 Adventurer in White.

The 525XC (OU06 FPO) is an off-road model which is quite distinctive since it has a large acerbis fuel tank for long range use. It has an orange 50tooth rear sprocket and the 2007 front mudguard and Light (It is a 2006 bike). It also has USD Black forks with WP Suspension stickers. Loddon Vale stickers on 3 sides, It also has a tool pack on the rear (I know the contents). Rear Maxxis tyre and front EnduroCross. Both wheels & hubs straight and true. Newish orange drive chain.
Exhaust is standard KTM but has some burn marks on it from my trousers (again I can recognise it). Distinctive top anodized tripleclamp - this is a rare imported item from the US and is unlikely to be on UK bikes. Also has mount for SatMap. Bike is in excellent mechanical condition but slightly scruffy externally

Second bike was a White 990 Adventurer 2009 (FJ09 DFF) with a grey rear topbox. There is a distinctive alteration in that it has a black high front mudguard rather than the typical white close to wheel one. This mod was only made this weekend so I have no pics but it is very distinctive - The brake lines for the front wheel are held up with wire holders (similar to a 950 SE). This bike is otherwise standard (bar a scott-oiler).

Please can you keep an eye out as they are both likely to be either stripped for parts or stolen to order. Helmets were also taken (Arai Tour-X with GS logo down each side).

Please contact me on 07723 474075 with any information.

Thieving Scum Strike again!!

All the positives and happiness from the WOR Brongest event were overshadowed by a horrible Sunday awakening for David and Stefan Kelly last weekend. David and his great little rider of a son, Stefan are regular visitors to WOR events and the make the long trek from the Isle of Man for every WOR championship event.

On Sunday Morning the 3rd of June they had been victims of a targeted double bike theft. David awoke to find Stef's One off KTM XC105 worth a lot of money had gone, along with his own little trials bike that he helps marshal the events on. It was heartbreaking to see the effect this has on a child. Racing is everything to this family and we need help in getting this bike back.

The thieves had brazenly gone into a caravan awning, and took both of the chained up bikes, Leaving lots of other unchained bikes and expensive generators around the paddock…The scum dog shite so called humans knew exactly what they wanted and after planning and watching on the Saturday they got their ill gotten gains leaving devastation in their wake.

Stefan's Bike is a one off.. American spec with gear box modifications, a unique oversize tank and lots of other tweaks and bits and bobs.

Please have a look at the pics of the bike and be vigilant for us…If you see any sign or hear any rumblings of this bike please contact Steve at WOR Events on 07803 698 061 or contact Cardigan Police Station direct. David on the Isle of Man can be contacted on 07624 480077

Once again we plead…Don't let this vermin win….
