The picturesque market town of Knighton - nestling amongst the pine covered
hills of the Welsh borders - was the venue of this weekend's 4th round of the
Metzeler ACU British Enduro Championship. With a Gothic clock tower at it's
centre, the town has a European feel & so did the Central Wales Auto
Club's event. The hard standing start area was in the car park of Benson's
factory on the outskirts of the town with an adjacent field for the campers.
The weather was glorious with 3 days of cloudless skies. Clerk of the course

Ashes Enduro on the 28th of September 2008. With the current bad weather
conditions the venue has yet to be finalised. Justin Wilson of ride-xc
would like to stress to all entrants the importance of booking in early.
This makes the race format much easier to plan. So where possible the
team can run the ever popular 2 race format. All classes will be catered

Dyfed DBC - The next club meeting will be held on the 26th
September in the rugby club Lampeter to discuss next years dates for
events. There is a bus booked for the 12th October to watch the solo race
at Weston super mare, can all interested members contact Myles ASAP. Can
