EVERGREEN DEREK WAS "BAWN" TO RIDE !!!! WES RD 10 2024 - WOR ENDURO SPORT @ CLATTER PICS Doc Ward WORDS : WES-EM ( WOR ENDURO SPORT - EVENT MEDIA) Clatter as a venue just gets better and better and after 2 decades of events there ..The WOR team unleashed a new design and really enjoyable 9 .5 mile lap for all riders to enjoy... Thick mist that was eery and unusual in the warm , summer like weather and
visibility on the very top of the mountain was a massive contrast to the clear
and fine conditions down in base camp but all in all conditions where perfect
for the 2 races and 15 classes
The adults where led home by the evergreen Derek Bawn as he kept pushing and pushing to take the overall lead in the last lap from the hard charging, clubman youngster and one of the most improved riders of the last 12mths, Harvey Ridge . Massive thanks as always to all involved in running the event from the land owners through to the medics, caterers, governing body, weekend helpers, full time staff and all the other fine folk that makes these events possible ..The biggest thank you going as always to the riders for booking in, turning up and supporting the events. Marshall led from Start to finish in the Juniors with another superb ride as he
keeps his run of 2024 fine form going.
