list by winning the both events at the final GBXC round of the season. He
absolutely nailed both the Sprint Nationals, where even Fast Eddy couldn’t
catch him, and the GBXC with emphatic victories across the weekend. Details

Stage 2 21 October “Italfer” – 304,12 km SS: 267,97 km –
marathon stage
After a first stage on stony and mountains terrain, today the second
stage of the Merzouga Rally was very technical and varied, featuring small
dunes, dunes, hors-piste, fesh fesh and river crossing, before pointing the
cap to the Merzouga dunes, where the Pro tackled the beautiful big dunes of
the Erg Chebbi. In total the competitors completed 304,12 km, just 39,15 km
of liaison and 267,97 km of special stage. This is a marathon stage so the
support of the assistance is not allowed till the end of the third stage. Details

Nambotin
wins MZ country
E1 World Champion
Christophe Nambotin has won the 200 euro Prologue Prize at the German Enduro Championship
Final Round in Zschopau - the home of the legendary MZ motorcycle. Switzerland's Jonathan Rosse was runner up and
Marco Newbert eased out Joakin Ljunggren by less than half a second to take
3rd. Nambotin won the main event ahead of Marcus Kehr. Dennis Schroter was
3rd - good enough to clinch the 2014 German Championship. Details Results

The Hugely successful Perkins Slade Intellegent Insurance sponsored Hare
& Hounds Enduro Championship came to a close last Sunday at Ellington
Banks. The competition and friendly rivalry between RideoffroadUK Club
Members was awesome. Laughing and joking before the start, fierce rivalry on
track, handshakes and congratulations at the chequred flag. This sums up
just how popular ROR events have now become, being the Norths most active
club since 2008. Details

Midwest Husqvarna rider, Lee Sealey put on a superb display of
125cc riding at the last rd of the WOR Events, Michelin XCE series at a very
muddy but beautifully sunny Maeshafn in North Wales. Lee secured the overall
title of 2014 MICHELIN XCE champion with a devastating show of speed and

is Back!
Daryl Bolter returned to form after breaking a leg at
the Natterjack with a win at the
SEEC 'Spitfire Sprint' at Popham Airfield on the 19th October. Richard Ely was
runner up and Ben Wibberley was 3rd. A full entry, all classes
represented, 7 timed heats, 5.5 miles of VERY fast fields, woods to test the
best, obstacles and a fast flowing MX area, first event in this format held by
the SEEC but looks like it was a success and popular with the riders. Report

A last minute change of venue saw Cotswold Enduro Club return to
Wymeswold for what turned out to be a fast and furious finish to the season
for the final rounds of the Club Championship and the AMCA Rock Oil H&H
Championship. Details

RHL Weston Beach Race
Shaun Simpson has won the 2014 Weston Beach Race and Ben Watson
was runner up; Frazer Norrie had to push into the pits after his engine cut
out but he got the motor firing again and finished 9th. Lee Edmondson finished
13th on the ever reliable Beta. Josh Gotts was running
in 11th with 45 minutes to go when he collided with another bike and crushed
his pipe. David Knight started well in 4th on lap 1 but he was forced to
retire on lap 6 with a probable fuel pump problem. Details

Centenary
Scott Trial
James Dabill won the Centenary Scott Trial organised by Richmond MC in
Yorkshire this weekend. Michael Brown was runner up and Dougie Lampkin was
3rd. Some familiar names from the World of Enduro returned to their roots.
Ben Hemingway and Jonny Walker both finished with Silver Spoons. Ben - with
no rear brake - was
19th and Jonny - despite a bit of pushing - crossed the line in 25th Results -

JONES YAMAHA 2 DAY WINTER ENDURO SCHOOLS 2014/15
We are pleased to enclose details of our forthcoming winter
enduro schools.
We propose to hold three during November, December and January on the
following dates:-
Saturday & Sunday 29th & 30th November 2014
Saturday & Sunday 13th & 14th December 2014
Saturday & Sunday 10th & 11th January 2015.
We will have a limited number of Yamaha WR 250’s and 450’s available for
hire on each school. The cost will be £150 using your own bike, deposit
required £50 or £330 (to include fuel) if you wish to hire ours, deposit
required £130. (Cheques made payable to ORE Ltd).
We will have our usual team of instructors, including all of the Jones’s,
Geraint, Rowan, Dylan, Edward, Robert, Wyn Hughes and our spanner man and
instructor John Begley. Plus we will have a couple of other top BEC riders
as guest instructors on each school. Details
