SuperEnduro World Championship 2015, Round 2 Taddy leads the way in SuperEnduro 2015 Two rounds into the defence of his FIM SuperEnduro crown and Taddy Blazusiak has established himself at the top of the 2015 series. Four race wins from the six finals held so far, topping the podium in both Poland and Germany means Blazusiak is 13 points ahead in the title chase Firstly, hows life back on a 300cc two-‐stroke? Taddy: Im really enjoying it. Its a lot of fun and has put a real spark back into my riding. But I need to eliminate my mistakes. You can get away with so much more stuff on the four-‐stroke than you can on the two-‐stroke. Im still trying to figure out where that line between crashing and staying on two wheels is. But its fun! Two rounds in and youre 13 points ahead in the series. Youve got to be pleased about that? Taddy: Definitely I cant ask for much more than what Im doing. Winning all three races in Poland was perfect. It was a big motivation for me and I carried that result across the Christmas break and into round two in Germany. Four race wins from six starts and two overall wins is great. Speaking of crashes, talk us through that last lap crash in race one in Poland. You were lucky to get back up and still win! Taddy: It was a bit of stupid mistake on my part. I can only really blame rider error on that one. I was hitting this log section hard all day and coming into it on the final lap I caught sight of both Cody Webb and Jonny Walker just up the track. I surprised myself that I was about to lap them. For a split second I lost concentration and went down. It was a fast crash so Im thankful to get away unhurt. There are 16 guys on track in each final. How are you managing the chaos? Taddy: Managing the chaos is a huge part of this type of racing. Theyre short sprint races so you just cant afford to make a single mistake. In Germany, in the second race, I didnt have any luck finding gaps and making safe passes. I got stuck behind some guys and had to follow Alfredo Gomez for a couple of laps that made me lose touch with the leaders. David was able to manage that reverse order start the best. He got to the front pretty quickly and checked out, so hats off to him for that. Jonny Walker has beaten you to the SuperPole win twice. Whats it going to take to beat him? Taddy: Just getting that perfect lap in. Like I said, you can get away with more mistakes on the four-‐stroke than the two-‐stroke. When youre hanging it out for the fastest lap in SuperPole its so easy to get off line and slip up. Jonnys been solid in SuperPole but maybe in Finland I can get the fastest time. Finland marks the halfway point in the series and its the first time SuperEnduro will travel to Scandinavia. Whatre your thoughts on it? Taddy: Its cool to visit somewhere new. Finland isnt a place Ive raced very often so Im excited to see something fresh. In terms of the championship I want to keep doing what Im doing. Winning races and keeping out front thats what its all about right now. Round three of the 2015 FIM SuperEnduro World Championship takes place in Helsinki, Finland on February 1st. 2015 FIM SuperEnduro World Championship Standings (after two rounds) 1. TADDY DELIVERS WINNING START TO 2015 SUPERENDURO
CAMPAIGN Taddy Blazusiak made a winning start to the defence of his FIM SuperEnduro World Championship campaign on Saturday night, topping all three main event finals at round one of the SuperEnduro series in Gdansk, Poland. Switching to a 300cc two-stroke for his 2015 SuperEnduro campaign, in winning Blazusiak already holds a 12-point advantage. Here Taddy talks about winning in front of his home crowd, switching back to a two-stroke and his near disastrous start to the first main event Taddy, championships don't start much better than that? Things didn't start well, what happened out of the gate in the first
final? Your last-to-first charge was unquestionably the highlight of the
night for many Switching to the 300cc two-stroke obviously worked out well for you.
How was it being back racing a two-stroke? Some people suggested that you wouldnt be as hard to beat as in
previous years, because of your recent loss in the US Endurocross series.
Did that give extra motivation to win? Did racing in front of your home crowd pile on the pressure, or give
you a boost? Whats next, feet up and enjoy the Christmas break?
Blazusiak takes win in final round at AMA EnduroCross Red Bull KTM Factory rider Taddy Blazusiak wound up his 2014 EnduroCross Championship challenge on Saturday night on a high note, winning the final round of the season at Ontario California to finish second in the championship. The Polish rider, who had won the previous five EnduroCross championships, said he was disappointed not to have taken the title but was satisfied to go out with the win. I am really bummed I couldnt earn the championship this year, but I am happy to win the final race, stated Blazusiak. I came here to win tonight and that is what I was able to accomplish. Taddy was on form throughout the event, which was held in front of a packed stadium as the sport continues to grow in popularity. He turned consistently fast times in the afternoon qualifying session and followed that up with a dominant heat race win. His KTM teammate, Taylor Robert, followed suit and also won his heat. These wins gave both riders an extra point toward the championship chase. The top six riders then lined up for the hot laps, which determine gate pick for the main event. It was Robert who topped the board with the fastest time and allowed him to pick up another point in the championship standings. Blazusiak finished second fastest for a great gate pick in the main event. When the gate dropped both Robert and Blazusiak got an excellent jump and were inside the top three. Then Robert and Colton Haaker came together. This pushed Robert out and allowed Blazusiak to move into the lead through the fire pit. Once in the lead, Blazusiak never looked back and led every lap to take the win. Blazusiak had a four-second lead at one point but a few issues with lappers made the battle quite close at the end. Despite the lappers, he still held strong and crossed the checkered flag first to take the victory. Robert rebounded from his early race crash and finished fourth with equal points to third placed Haaker. Blazusiak, a Red Bull athlete will now return to Europe to prepare for the opening round of the FIM SuperEnduro to be held in front of his home crowd at Gdansk, Poland on December 6, 2014. KTM'S TADDY BLAZUSIAK FINISHES 4th Factory FMF/KTM rider Taddy Blazusiak finished 4th in the sixth round of the AMA EnduroCross at the XFINITY Arena, Everett, Washington. Tddy was placed in the first heat. He had a bad gate pick but still managed to pull a second place start and finished the race in that spot to qualify to the main event. When the gate dropped for the main event, Blazusiak had a great jump but went down in the first corner. Robert was up front in second behind Cody Webb. Blazusiak quickly recovered from his last place position to move into fourth by the end of the first lap. He soon found himself challenging Robert for second but he crashed again and that dropped him back to fifth. At that point, Webb and Robert began to pull away from the rest of the field. Robert moved into the lead when Webb crashed in the rocks with a few laps to go and carried it to the flag for a hard earned victory. Blazusiak moved up one more position to finish fourth for the night. Blazusiak was philosophical about his first round off the podium in 2014, saying: It wasnt the best of nights for sure as we had a lot of problems. We have a few weeks to regroup and will come back strong for Boise." Next Event: November 15, 2014 Boise, ID Overall Results
KTMs Blazusiak and Robert finish 2-3 in Salt Lake EnduroCross Red Bull KTMs Taddy Blazusiak finished a close second to Cody Webb in Rd. 5 of the AMA EnduroCross in Salt Lake City on Saturday with factory teammate Taylor Robert taking third in the pro class. Cody Webb was the winner and he now leads the championship by three points from Blazusiak. But in the final it was Factory Husqvarnas Mike Brown who took the holeshot award and began to distance himself from the field, taking with him the two KTM factory riders Blazusiak and Robert with him. Meanwhile Colton Haaker, winner of last weeks round in Denver crashed and found himself in last place. By lap four, Webb pressuring Brown and waiting to capitalize on any mistake he might make. Webb moved swiftly when Brown fumbled at the woodpile and led the field in lap five. By then Robert had overtaken Blazusiak and they began some serious jostling for third place. Haaker had by then moved up to fifth and held on to that spot until the end of the race. Blazusiak, a Red Bull athlete moved past Robert into third place by the half way mark and then went after Brown for second. Out front Webb had consolidated his lead to a 10 second advantage going into the final laps but then came unstuck in the elevated rock turn. Webb held onto the lead but Blazusiak turned up the pace and he and Robert got past Brown to soak up the minor podium places. Taddy Blazusiak: I made mistakes but then towards the end of the race I got that rhythm going again and started working on the guys. In the end, I am happy with second. Its a good second looking towards the championship. Robert said he was happy with third after a slow start to the season due to injury. Now I am feeling 100% so I am back up there battling for the top spot, he said. Overall, I am very happy with our two riders results, stated Factory FMF/KTM Team Manager Antti Kallonen. Taddy (Blazusiak) was able to stay in the points hunt and Taylor (Robert) continued to progress earning his first podium this season. Taylor Robert (FMF/KTM Factory rider) finished fourth. Blazusiak, a Red Bull-sponsored athlete started in heat three and quickly took the lead after the first two corners. He then went on to take the win by over 15 seconds. Robert, who raced in the first heat, also took a win to give both KTM riders a spot in the main event. Blazusiak got away well in the main event and immediately took the lead. He began to pull away from the pack but came unstuck in the rock section, allowing Colton Haaker to overtake him. Blazusiak made a quick recovery and was just a bike length ahead of Cody Webb. The two riders battled it out for the second place but Blazusiak managed to hang on to the advantage. Meanwhile Robert started the race in fourth place then dropped back to fifth where he remained for most of the race. He then made the push in the closing stages and overtook Mike Brown to secure fourth. Taddy Blazusiak wins signature Red Bull 111 Megawatt Hard Enduro Red Bull KTM factory rider Taddy Blazusiak topped the podium in his own signature event, the inaugural Red Bull 111 Megawatt Hard Enduro on Sunday at home in Poland in the dramatic setting of the open pit coalmine in Belchatw. KTM Factory teammates Jonny Walker and Andreas Lettenbichler took the two minor podium places. The event attracted almost 500 hundred aspiring riders who pitted their skills against the KTM trio, all domiant riders in international competition. Riders had to complete a 45 km long course over stones, sand, special obstacles and jumps, making it a spectacular day out for both competitors and fans in a race that went down to the wire beween Blazusiak and Walker. Taddy, a five-times winner of the notorious Red Bull Hare Scramble at Austrias Erzbergrodeo and a five times AMA EnduroCross champion was able to showcase his exceptional skiils in front of his home crowd and was the first to cross the line. Red Bull-sponsored Taddy Blazusiak: What can I say! Im so happy to have come away with the win in the first year of the Red Bull 111 Megawatt. To be honest Im blown away by the success of the event and to have claimed the top step of the podium is the cherry on the cake. For me things went great all weekend. During qualification I set a fast lap one I was pleased with it but Jonny edged me out to take the top spot. But with a good position for the front row of Sundays main event I managed to grab the holeshot. Straight away Jonny applied the pressure and we broke away from the pack. I opted to pit for fuel at the end of lap one so I put the hammer down and gained a gap. I emerged from the pits with the lead but my bike spluttered and stopped so Jonny got by. I caught him up and we battled again right to the finish. It was a cool race and I was super pumped to take the win. Overall the race has been an instant massive success. We achieved a lot. The course was perfect for the 500 that entered it was tough but rideable. And with an estimated 30,000 showing up to watch its been fantastic. Plans are already being made for 2015! The 23-year-old Walker and also a double Erzbergrodeo Red Bull Hare Scramble winner said he was impressed with the event, the atmosphere and the crowd support. With KTMs Lettenbichler, a veteran a competitor in hard enduro competiton, taking third place, the top five on the results sheet was rounded off by Lukasz Kurowski, multiple Polish Motocross Champion and European Enduro Champion and Sylwester Jedrzejczyk, Polish Enduro Vice-Champion.

Erzberg and US Endurocross series winner takes to the start of Baja Poland
2014, round eight of the prestigious FIA Cross Country Rally World Cup,
based in Szczecin, north west Poland. Baja Poland 2014 - Schedule Taddy Blazusiak: I have to start by saying a huge thank you to ORLEN for giving me this incredible opportunity. Ive experienced a rally on two wheels before, but this will be a completely new experience for me I cant wait. Cars have been a passion of mine for many, many years so to be racing in an official ORLEN Team Overdrive Toyota Hilux is just amazing. And to be racing it here in Poland just makes it even better. There is so much for me to learn, but by jumping in at the deep end I hope to learn all I can. Id love to be able to compete in more events on four wheels in the future, so this is an important first step towards learning more about rally racing.
Blazusiak Wins Atlanta EnduroCross Red Bull KTM Factory rider Taddy Blazusiak was in fighting form on Saturday night in Atlanta, Georgia and picked up another win in the third round of the AMA EnduroCross Series. The reigning champion turned the fastest time in the afternoon hot laps to take first gate pick in his heat race and went out alongside his teammate, Factory FMF/KTM rider Taylor Robert. Both riders started out strong and quickly advanced to the front, holding their ground to secure the top two spots with Blazusiak edging out Robert for the win to secure their transfer straight to the main event. Blazusiak, a Red Bull-sponsored athlete was fast out of the gate in the main event to pick up the holeshot award and went on to duke it out Cody Webb out front for the lead position. The two riders stayed close together for the first ten laps before race fatigue was an issue and rides started to make small mistakes. It quickly evolved into a game of who could ride smart and make the least mistakes and few are as wily as KTMs Polish rider who has dominated the sport since its inception. Indeed it was Blazusiak proved he had the right skill set as he caught and passed Webb to take the win. I am happy with my start but then I made a few mistakes and Cody got by me said Blazusiak. Fifteen laps felt like two forty five minute motos back to back out there on that track so it was great to come out with the win. Robert found himself back at around eighth in midfield after being edged out in the opening scramble for positions. He then advanced up to third place and hung on there until a mistake at the halfway mark cost him a position. His fourth place position was his best result this season. Taddy Blazusiak picks up podium third at Sacramento EnduroCross Red Bull KTM Factory Team rider Taddy Blazusiak of Poland picked up more valuable championship points with a podium third in the third round of the 2014 at Sacramento, California on Saturday night. Riders resumed the competition after competing in the recent X-Games in Austin, Texas, which for the mens pro division also counted for points to the championship. Factory FMF/KTM rider Taylor Robert, who recently had a strong first ride in the notorious Erzbergrodeos Red Bull Hare Scramble in Austria picked up a solid fourth place at the Sleep Train Arena. The nights competition yielded six KTM riders in the top ten positions in the main event. Blazusiak started well by turning the third fastest time in the hot lap sessions while Robert finished sixth. This placed them both in the third heat race of the evening program when Blazusiak pulled the holeshot with Robert directly behind them. The two KTM riders stayed close throughout the race and finished 1-2 after Blazusiak hung onto the lead throughout the race. Both riders got away reasonably well in the main event that saw Robert in third at the start. But Blazusiak got tangled with another rider and crashed in the first corner. He scrambled back into the action near the back of the field and at the halfway point had caught Robert and began to battle for a podium position. Then Robert crashed when another rider clipped his rear wheel, allowing Blazusiak to further close the gap but he still couldnt make the pass. This finally came when Robert encountered trouble in the rocks. Blazusiak slipped by and the two riders carried their 3-4 positions to the end of the race. KTM rider Cory Graffunder finished in fifth place. Next Event: August 23, 2014 Atlanta, GA AMA Rd. 3 EnduroCross at Sacramento
Red Bull KTM Factory rider Taddy Blazusiak of Poland picked up his fourth gold medal at the 2014 X-Games and second round of the AMA EnduroCross Series at the Circuit of the Americas Grand Prix facility in Austin, Texas. FMF/KTM rider Kacy Martinez took the gold in the womens event to make it a good night out at the event for the Austrian manufacturer. Blazusiak has now moved into the lead on the championship table with a one-point margin over Cody Webb, setting up a hard fought fight for the 2014 title. Factory FMF/KTM rider Taylor Robert, fresh from a solid ninth-place finish in the Erzbergrodeo Red Bull Hare Scramble last weekend, finished sixth. Blazusiak is a former 5-times winner of the Red Bull Hare SCramble Robert contested the first heat race, was third at the first corner and then moved up to second after passing Webb in the matrix. He then made a mistake on the last lap in the rock section but finished third to qualify for the final. Blazusiak had a difficult start in heat two after he slid out in the first corner but quickly picked up his bike and exited at eighth place. In typical fighting style he had worked his way back to third by the close of the first lap then slipped by Mike Brown and Geoff Aaron in the rock section to take over the lead. Blazusiak then led the remaining 4 laps to transfer into the main. At the start of the main event Blazusiak was second out of the first corner behind Brown then doubled through the water obstacle to take over the lead. He stayed out in front until mid-race then went down in the rocks. Colton Haaker jumped in behind him and the two riders battled wheel to wheel for a few laps before lapped traffic allowed Blazusiak to put time on Haaker. With two laps to go Blazusiak continued to stretch out his lead and he went on to seal his fourth X-Games gold medal. It feels great to win another X-Games gold, stated Blazusiak. I struggled a little this morning with some of the jumps in practice, but the main is where it counts. ? Robert was mid pack at the start and fifth at the half-way mark in the main. AMA Endurocross 2014, Round 1 Taddy finishes third at 2014 EnduroCross opener Defending US EnduroCross champion Taddy Blazusiak got his bid for a sixth consecutive title off to a strong start by placing his factory KTM on the third step of the position at the opening round of the 2014 series inside the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas. Hopeful of a winning start to his 2014 campaign, Blazusiak once again showed that he will a tough rider to beat during the eight--]round championship. Winning his heat race to secure a good gate position for the nightfs final, Taddy started well to end lap one in second position. Battling with Colton Haaker during the early laps of the race, mid--]way through the 12--]lap main event Taddy ran into trouble in the boulder garden while among lapped riders. Quickly back into the runner--]up position Taddy eventually ended the race in third having again run into trouble trying to pass a lapped rider. Round two of the US EnduroCross series takes place on June 21 in Sacramento, California. Taddy Blazusiak: "Everything went good really, apart from a few mistakes. I'm pretty happy with third. We have an eight--]race championship this year so to start with a podium is a very positive start. I felt really good on my bike, but I made a few mistakes and they cost me. I know where I went wrong, so Ifll work on that for the next round. Ifd say that the track wasnft my kind of track. But it was what it was. I just found it hard to go as slow as we were going. Like I said a few mistakes in the main event costs me, but third is a good start to the championship.h Taddyfs next event: X Games, Circuit of the Americafs . Austin, Texas, June 6, 2014 Results . Taddy Blazusiak Media Service AMA Endurocross 2014, Round 1 preview Taddy Blazusiak . Bidding For Endurocross title #6 The opening round of the eagerly awaited 2014 Geico AMA EnduroCross Championship takes place inside the Orleans Arena on Friday, May 2. Entering the series as the defending champion, Taddy starts his bid for a sixth consecutive title. Feeling fitter, fresher and as motivated as ever, the KTM factory rider is ready for the start gate to drop on Friday night. Taddy, it's Endurocross time again. You've got to be looking forward to the start of the 2014 championship? Taddy Blazusiak: I can't wait. I've been looking forward to this race for a while now and I'm excited for it. I've got a busy season ahead but my goal is to fight for the victory and give it everything Ifve got to try and win my sixth straight EnduroCross title. What have you been up to since the SuperEnduro World Championship ended? Once the SuperEnduro season was wrapped up I took two weeks off to completely disconnect from racing. Both mentally and physically I was drained. I headed up to the mountains in Andorra and did some snowboarding and cross--] country skiing. It was a lot of fun. It was nice to finally chill out, clear my head and not think about riding bikes. When did you start to ride again? I've been back on my bike for a few weeks now building towards the start of the Endurocross Championship. Wefve decided to stay on the 250f this year and fine--] tuned it to make some improvements. Already it feels incredible. What areas of the bike did you look to improve? Starts are so important in EnduroCross and that's what we worked on. During testing we found a good balance where the motor has plenty of power out of the starting gate but yet is not overly aggressive to ride on the rest of the track. Moving away from EnduroCross for a moment, you wonft be competing at the Erzbergrodeo this year. Why is that? I'm disappointed to miss out on Erzberg but the race is only a few days before X Games in Texas so I can't go. I wouldn't be able to properly prepare for either race. X Games is a huge event for KTM and myself so I want to be 100 per cent ready for it . I want to fight for a Gold Medal there. Finally, during the past couple of seasons you've carried an injury into the series opener in Las Vegas. You must be happy that you're firing on all cylinders this time around? It feels great to be 100 per cent healthy starting off the championship. In the past I've usually been nursing an injury or been slightly underprepared. Now I feel well rested and really motivated. With both EnduroCross and SuperEnduro combined I've got a long season ahead, but I'm excited to get behind a starting gate again. I'll be giving it everything I've got to win my sixth title.
