Devon Delight for Tom For the 4th round of the 2009 GBXC series the team chose a new venue n South Devon. The weather was atrocious on the Saturday morning but luckily the torrential rain cleared from the Southwest & by Sunday morning the course was drying quickly. The 7 mile lap was a good mix of fields, woodland, gullies & stream crossings. There was even a bit of jungle for the celebrities. Results morning race afternoon race
The 2nd round of Builth Wells Mcc's Summer Hare & Hounds series took place at Church farm near Llandrindod Wells on Sunday 7th June. Heavy rain drenched the course on Saturday but the weather improved for the race on Sunday. Edward Jones was the Overall winner from Andrew Edwards. Details

Mark Cornick took the win on SCEC's Wednesday evening race at Rogershill Raceway in spite of breaking several bones in his left foot around the midway point. Mark had fought hard throughout the early stages with Daryl Bolter until Daryl was forced to retire with a broken chain. Second place went to MX GP runner Scott Elderfield and third to Tyson Maytom Jones (in spite of getting the extreme section very wrong! Track owner Danny Hall had a good ride to finish 6th on the 450 BMW. Results Next SCEC event Shillingstone Forest 28th June.

Round 5 2009 Hare & Hounds Championship. Rideoffroaduk make a welcome return to North Yorkshire for round 5 of the 2009 series which will take place at Low North Camp, Harwood Dale North Yorkshire on June 14th. The camp which is used as an all year round trials park also boasts a full size MX track, this coupled with the awesome woodland sections, stream crossings tracks and trails makes it an superb venue for true Hare & Hounds events. Gethin Humphries is a very promising youth rider who has scored some good results so far this year in the WOR Off Road Premiership & GBXC series & Route 55 will be supporting him for the remainder of the season. Gethin is pictured on the left collecting his new KTM125 EXC from Peter Hadfield outside the Route 55 showroom in Queensferry. Route 55 the only main dealer for KTM in North Wales & alongside it's sister company Colwyn Bay Motorcycles serves North Wales, Cheshire, Manchester and Merseyside.
