The seventh and final round saw the GBXC series head to north Wales near Llangollen. After bad weather during the week it looked like the race would be a wet one. After walking the course on Saturday, conditions would be perfect. The track was very flowing and had alot of mixed going from muddy woods to dry flowing fields. Details

The 2009 Metzeler ACU British Enduro Champion Carl Tiley held the first of his training schools & events at Jeff Miles Motopark on the 5/6th September. Details
With series leader Mark Cornick still injured and out of action the series was wide open. In Chains TM rider Ben Milward grabbed the holeshot and rode the wheels off his little TM for the full 2 hours of the fast and flowing course to victory. Future Racing’s Paul Cowshall followed him in for 2nd and Midwest Husaberg’s Tyson Maytom-Jones came in with a good solid 3rd place, which was enough for him to clinch the overall for the series and carry the number 1 plate into the 2010 series. The ELRAT Giffin Enduro was cancelled at the weekend due to the severe weather therefore the next round of the Scottish Championship is on the 20th September at Yarrowford near Selkirk. The Metzeler Melville Team has invested in updating the timing equipment for the special tests and the club is hopeful that it will give more accurate results much quicker. In the Expert Class Derek Little is at the top of the Championship table although there have been 7 winners in 8 events with Neil Chatham and Allyn Scotland taking their first overall wins recently. Grant Smith is in second place with a raft of riders close behind including the young talented Fraser Norrie and the mud master Murray Thomson. Derek, Grant and Ricky Mair are starting their preparations for the ISDE next month. This popular enduro will be set out with the poor weather in mind although most of the course should stand up well and therefore the event should go ahead. Regs

Rd 3 Motul North Riding Enduro Club Championship North Riding Enduro held the round of their "Motul / Triple D Hare and Hounds" club championship at Camphill near Ripon in North Yorkshire on 30th August. This fantastic 4.5 mile course is situated in a private estate. As the club only use the event once a year and keep it well maintained, it was in prime condition for all to enjoy.
