Each race weekend features a Youth race on Saturday, followed by two adult races during Sunday. The only exception to this is the two Double header cost cutter weekends in May and September. 5th February - Track n Trail 2012 Championship - Round 2 Thorncombe Nr Bridport - What can I say this track has everything an Enduro rider could ask for! Grassy, open moorland , no shortage of wooded areas and two hilly stubble fields, one for the start area and the second to break up the woodland sections. Plus rocky streams beds , some 3rd and 4th gear flowing open going and plenty of air time inc a tabletop! You will have to concentrate for every second. 25/26th February - Midwest MCC are holding a practice "Winter Warm Up" weekend to blow out the winter cobwebs on 25th/26th February at Knook, Near Warminster, Wiltshire. Starting at 11am and finishing at 4pm. Open to Youth and Adult, there will also be a Beginners/Auto separate course. The course is mainly open fields with some small wooded areas and a large "U" shaped valley so ideal for a warm up practice event before the first club championship race the following weekend on 4th March at the ever popular Chavenage farm, Tetbury. Entry fee is Adult £30 per day, Youth £20 per day, Auto track £10 per day. There is an option to by a "2 Day Practice Ticket" which will be cheaper prices are Adult £50 for 2 days, Youth £30 for 2 days, Auto is still £10 per day. No need to book in just turn up on the day. 18th March - Track n Trail 2012 Championship - Round 3 Matterley Nr Winchester - In the motorcycling world, we all know Matterley as the venue for the British round of the World Grand Prix Championship in 2006 and later that year in September for MX of Nations , featuring the magnificent battle between Stefan Everts and Bubba Stuart ! Thankfully back on the calendar for the 2011 World Grand Prix. Although we do not use the GP motor cross track, as it is unsuitable for enduro, we do have available to us, some of the best areas of the estate with lots of elevation and plenty of character plus wooded areas spread across the landscape. This will become an annual event with a 5-6 mile course. The magnificent Matterley Estate is probably best known to the public for housing the US Army Boxing Tournament in 1944, featuring Joe Louis. This incredible fight took place in Matterley’s huge natural amphitheatre to boost moral for the troops . - Details | |

We will close the track at lunch time for one hour to give out all the trophies from last summer’s Championship & Portland everybody is welcome to come along for the day or just the presentation. 8th April - Drovers Enduro – Llandovery - WTRA Drovers Enduro (formally Red Kite enduro) is scheduled for Easter Sunday 8 April 2012 and the course is looking to be an excellent 15 mile lap with a single cross country special test. This is an ideal first time forestry enduro for the Sportsman and Clubman riders looking to gain experience of good old fashioned forestry enduros. The 15 mile lap is forestry based with some excellent going designed to introduce the competitor into the old fashioned timecard enduros. It also features the only off-road section of the Epynnt Military ranges still available to the sport. The event is also the opening round of the ACU Twin Shock championship, where bikes (and riders) from yesteryear will be enjoying riding the going from the distant past. With a guaranteed 4 -5 hours of riding you will certainly get value for money as well as the chance to ride some great tracks and enjoy the fantastic scenery. The venue has unique going for northern forests with a 100% guarantee of no bogs, the well drained plantations are on a limestone gravel base linked by open trails and will offer over 20 miles of flowing woodland similar in some respects to the Muntjac. The special test is a fully machined and manicured 4 miles of XC slalom through the trees. The start and finish of the test are together and offers hard standing car parking for crews and spectators catering and up to date test results. This new venue is just what we have been looking for, mostly wood land running in and out of open heath land much of the wood land has grown up throughout gravel and sand pits and will be fairly technical. Due to the loose sandy soil we have decided to have the adult competition running on trials rear tyres, but any type on the front. For all youth competitors with 18 and 19 inch rear wheels the trials tyres rule will also apply. All other size rear wheels can use any tyres front and rear. This is the land the BBC used when filming the Tenko series back in the early 80s, because it looked so similar to the Japanese jungle. I just hope they know the war has finished! At the moment this is planned to run as a Hare & Hounds but closer to the time we may chose to run as an Enduro format! Details | |

3rd June - Entries are a little slow at the moment for Midwest MCCs next event at Cley Hill, near Warminster. It is a ONE day event on Sunday 3rd June and not a 2 day as previously listed (Sun/Mon). There is also a 3 hour training day on the Saturday 2nd June open to adult and youth riders. Non-members are welcome at both events just call 01225 791179 to both in for either. This land really is something else, we have lots woodland, plenty of flowing open heathland, with its sand and gravely soil covered with a carpet of pine needles. Enduro Special test, close to start area, riding time should be 5 to 7 mins long, competitors will have 5 to 12 runs depending on class. The whole course, including special test could be 8 to 10mile long for the adults, but shortened for the youth event. 24th June - Bon Accord Motorcycle Club's Midsummer Mudness 2,
Scotland's only off-road endurance event a twelve hour Hare and Hounds.
The superb facilities at Tinto Moto Park, near Lesmahagow (only 60 miles
from the English border) will once again be playing host. The course
should be even longer this year at around forty minutes per lap and
features some brand new ground. Learning from last year the course will be
on the easy side of tough with no fearsome "stoppers". Our
thinking is to challenge you, not break you! The moto-x track is back by
request for all you committed speed freaks. Like last year the event
starts at 8am on Sunday morning and runs until until 8pm. The Bon Accord club have a reputation as innovators and the biggest innovation this year will be the Transponder Timing equipment that the club has invested in. Each rider will be supplied with their own transponder at sign on and the cost is included in the entry fee. The transponders are single use items and do not require to be handed back. This year all the winners will be known within minutes of the end of the event rather than days! Entries are being accepted now in the solo ironman classes or you can team up with your mates and enter as a team of two, three of four riders. Each rider can have their own bike or you can share, we don't mind. You can download your entry form at www.bamcc.co.uk or www.scottishenduros.co.uk With loads of paddock room competitors are encouraged to come along on Saturday evening get scrutineered, set up the campervan or tent and enjoy themselves, although not too much as we start at 8am next morning remember! 22nd July - Knighton MCC have posted the regs for their Radnor Enduro on - the 7th round of the 2012 Welsh Enduro Championship. The club has an excellent reputation for hosting top class events and as an added bonus they have decided to keep the entry fees down to encourage more riders to enter in these tough financial times. It is only £40. The course will be all forestry going with the special test located within the wood, an approximate of 25 miles per lap. Exact details will be shown at signing on. | 12th August - SUDBURY MOTOR CYCLE CLUB - the first 4 Man Team Enduro held in the Eastern Centre and is being staged by the Sudbury Motor Cycle Club at their historic course at Tye Farm Great Cornard near Sudbury. The meeting starts at 11am and runs for 4 hours nonstop and the first team member from each team will line up together and ride for 15 minutes and then handover their riding bib to their next team member who will then ride for another 15 minutes and this will continue on to the other 2 team members and when all have ridden once they start all over again. Currently there are 15 teams entered and at least 20 teams are needed to make the event viable and it is expected there will be a last minute rush from other competitors. Some of the members of the teams are the Roper brothers Stevie, Ricky and Jamie also cousins Craig and Ian. Other riders entered are Chris Hockey, Sam Toy, Chris Hart, Jack Berry and Kelvin Vant and much rivalry is expected from all of these riders. This type of meeting has been put on as a fun event and for something different for all riders and each team can be followed easily as each team member will have the same riding number. - 11AM START - This special event will take place on the never used Charborough
Estate, nr Bere Regis, The event will be run by Rogershill Off Road Events and
all profits will go to The Royal Marines Charitable Trust, in memory of local
rider James Wright who sadly lost his life on active service in Afghanistan
last year. The course will be run over cross country terrain, using 800 acres of mixed woodland and forest trails ,this will offer a huge variation of terrain which has never been used by any club for enduro or any event before. For those who have ridden Dorset Police events ,the natterjack test/woodland areas (without the whoops!) or Shillingstone Forest in its early days, put the three together and you have Charborough! | 9th September - Swindon MCC Foxwell Enduro - Entries now available for Swindon MCC's Foxwell timecard Enduro in the fabulous Cirencester Park, between Cirencester and Stroud. Entries limited to 140, clubman and sportsman solo classes only so a great event for beginners. This event has been run in the park for over 30 years. It's usually around an 18 to 24 mile track. A Trials tyre is required on the rear to preserve the land. Entry fees are £45, plus either full club membership at £7 or day membership at £5. All classes in the championship have yet to be decided and as all rounds count towards the Championship so a good result in the last round could make all the difference to your place in the championship. The course builders have been out working hard in the three woods over the last few weekends, with the intention of making the course more flowing and introducing some new rides. Also due to having the event later in the year, more of the fields are available to us which will also give us more scope when laying out the course.Last year the lap time was between 10-12 mins. for an expert. The landowner is concerned about the weather and the land is still currently very wet. He also would like to give the ground time to recover so that next year it starts in a good condition which is a fair shout. The club would like to apologise for this late hour change but it was left as long as possible so we had a chance of running. The club would also like to thank all the riders for sticking with us through the year (which has been tough due to the volume of rain) and hope that next year is slightly drier. We hope to have the use of Brookthorpe again next year and are planning to do work at Llangrove and Coleford through the winter, repairing all the damaged areas and hopefully opening up some new lines. 21st October - Enduro practice .Clutton Hill , 2-3 mile track set near the beautiful Town of Midsomer Norton, this is an amazing cross country track with a basic loop which is rideable for most experienced riders but has the added attraction of plenty of Extremely Hard routes including riding down rocky stream beds with some waterfall sections (have a look at our face book page for the photos). The course mostly consists of wood land tracks with miles of tight technical trail riding and plenty of mud. Whilst the basic loop is rideable for most riders those looking for a challenge will find, without a doubt that the hard route choices will test their extreme skills. For those of you not looking for a challenging ride stick to the easier routes and you will find a very different experience, the basic track is rideable for most riders. | 21st October - Fowlers Enduro returns for the 3rd year running, as part of the ACU twinshock enduro championship and both the Welsh and Credigion championships. With a revised route layout consisting of approximatley 20-25 miles of forestry tracks, open fields and two special tests. Fowlers is a club enduro, the route is both rideable and enjoyable for all classes. We welcome sportsman and beginners, please note this enduro is forestry based and will not use the public highway, therefore your bike does not need to be road registered. The number of laps will depend on the class entered, this will be announced in the final instructions. Special test will be marked 24 hours prior to event and will be available for inspection. Special tests will be timed using transponders; a deposit will be required at signing on e.g. ACU licence. | Saturday 24th November - Pendennis Motorcycle club are holding an extreme enduro called ‘The Cornish Rough One’ this Saturday 24th, at United Raceways, St. Day, Cornwall. The classes will be decided over two qualifying races. There is a prize fund on £50 to the winner of each class and then in the super final £100 is up for grabs. Plumbase and Cornwall wood treatment are two of the sponsors of the event. Scrutineering is at 8.30am and the first of the qualifying begins at 10am. 2nd December - Fast Eddy Motoduro - Round 3 - Butts Quarry - The Butts
will run no matter what the weather and the technical course may give
other riders a shot at the overall win in the adults races. Round two at Ashby was a real tester, muddy but fast and flowing in the main, but The Butts is completely different with its maze of twisty tracks and open sections. Two one-hour adult races and two 45-minute youth races will see plenty of non-stop action around this great venue. Preceding the event, on Saturday 1st December, is a Fast Eddy FED day where riders can try out the venue in a relaxed atmosphere and enjoy great value for money for just £30 for a days practice. For an extra £10 riders can gain the benefit of some of Fast Eddy's huge enduro experience with a training session around lunchtime. The whole day, in fact the whole weekend caters for riders young and not so young with separate races for youth and adult riders on Sunday. Cost for the Adult race is £40 and just £30 for riders in the youth race. Great value for money at an excellent venue with plenty of opportunities to get some serious bike time make this a weekend not to be missed. 2nd December - Track n Trail presents Destination Portland - Portland (Nr Weymouth) After months of planning, Track n Trail will be hosting an entirely unique event, a standalone competition, England’s first ever extreme event aimed at amateur riders. Do you think you’ve got what it takes, to take on Destination Portland? The closest thing to the Erzberg you’re likely to find in the south of England! Open to national and local competitors who are looking for a challenging competition. This is an extreme Hare Scramble pitched at Clubman and Expert rider levels. As well as being aimed at the Enduro riders looking for a very technical challenge, there is also a pure trials bike class thrown in the mix. This event will be Hard in it’s design – the idea is to give riders
who are not Pro / Expert level a chance to test themselves against a
course designed by Extreme Enduro specialist Wayne Braybrook. There
will be natural obstacles featuring rock gardens, hill climbs, steep
descents and nice flowing open going. It
will not be a bike wrecker, just designed to give regular Hare &
Hounds riders something a little bit tougher. THIS EVENT IS ONE FOR THE
AVERAGE RIDER TO GET A TASTE OF HARD ENDURO COMPETITION WITHOUT BEING OUT
OF THEIR DEPTH. If you like the sound of Romaniacs and Erzberg but
