10th February - The Total Enduro crew have spent the last few
weekends redesigning the course at Westwood, we have levelled and graded
the old rutted trails these will not be used again, and in return the land
owner has allowed us to use new ground, only a few areas of the old routes
remain this should provide a great start to the 2013 NEXC, early entry via
the NEEC site or www.totalenduro,com is advised as pay on the day will be
charge at the normal higher rate. As usual with the nexc rounds there are

10th February - Track n Trail Practice Day - Thorncombe Nr Bridport - What can I say this track has everything an Enduro rider could ask for! Grassy, open moorland , no shortage of wooded areas and two hilly stubble fields, one for the start area and the second to break up the woodland sections. Plus rocky streams beds , some 3rd and 4th gear flowing open going and plenty of air time inc a tabletop! You will have to concentrate for every second. Rally Challenge. There is a 25 mile loop planned with a 4.5 mile test
included which will be fast and technical. There will also be some
alternative enduro loops for those wanting that extra challenge. 3 or 4
laps are planned depending on weather. This event will please the beginner
wanting the taste of Rally or Enduro going, it will also be suitable for
the expert wanting for some extra bike time. with a current strong entry
of Rally and Sport bikes it promises to be another super event as

17th March - Mercian Dirt Riders will be holding
the first round of the 2013 MDR club championship on March 17th at the
Chicken farm. The Coleford track is currently dry and the club are hoping
for the weather to stay fair so that an event can be run allowing all
abilities of riders a safe and enjoyable ride. As always with MDR events
there will be routes available for all riders and the Chicken farm has
several hard easy options to use and the aim is always to get every rider
to the finish line at the 3 hour mark. There are entries available for non
club members, you can get a IOPD day licence for £5. |

17th March – Jack Frost Enduro – This popular event is organized by Rhayader MC - It will start at Saintswell Enduro & Motocross Practice Centre, nr Rhayader, Mid Wales. The lap will be approximately 10 miles & will include parts of the Red Lion Forest & include the motocross type special test at Saintswell. Driffield Training area this Sunday April 28th for another top quality
enduro practice day. The format is simple - unlimited track access from
10am to approx 3.30pm around the 650 acre Driffield site. The course is
marked out and designed for the purpose of enduro training and practice.
There will be no extreme sections; the course will feature up to 5 blocks
of woodland, some old military vehicle test tracks, lots of free flowing
open grassland going, and some chalk access roads to link the whole day
together. The track is rideable in any weather conditions, add to that a
hard standing paddock area for up to 300 vehicles means vans and campers
are going to stay clean. |

round sprint series. Each round will start off with the youth class with a
maximum of 21 riders accepted for this class. The youth class will range
from 65cc to 85cc through to the 125/250f. The novice class will follow with a maximum entry of 40 riders and then the expert class will Finnish the evening's entertainment. All classes will receive a one lap practice session, then they will compete in three timed laps of the approximately 10 minute long stage with around a 20 minute interval in between each stage, which allows the riders to take on fluids and do those crucial adjustments. The times from each stage completed are added together to produce a winner,all three rounds will count towards the series but trophies will be awarded at each round as well as for the series. A registration fee of £15.00 is required to secure your place in the series then the following entry fee applies. YOUTH £20.00 per round NOVICE £30.00 per round EXPERT £35.00 per round (PRIZE MONEY FOR THE SERIES) Trophies will be awarded at each round as well as for the series. 2013 New for 2013 are 22 miles of new green trails, we go in Wark forest near Stonehaugh for a 12 mile special. The K2 mileage rises to 80 miles per lap with 2 laps per day; we are doubling the specials to 2 per lap making the K2 a real adventure as it weaves through the mighty Kielder forestry complex. We pass through the famous RAC rally stages where drivers of old risked the wrath of killer kielder as they sped through Archy’s Rigg , Pundershaw , Shepherdshield, the 2013 k2 will follow the great stages! One of the great things about the K2 rally are the hard based forestry trails, there will be no getting stuck no matter what the weather throws at us. The special tests are suitable for big rally bikes, trail bikes and enduro machines no pushing just ride! For the enduro bikes we have 4 optional enduro loops per lap, there is no requirement to do them but they add a bit of spice! The campsite is undergoing some modifications a new wider entrance has been made from 8 foot to 12 foot wide allowing the biggest of campers to turn in to the field directly off the road and then drive out via the lower entrance, the barns will be used for HQ and sign on. Regular competitors will know how good the award winning organic catering is, this year they are going to providing a hog roast free to all competitors on Saturday night along with music. The campsite will be open from Thursday 6 June. The tourist town of Bellingham is only a short walk from the campsite offering pubs, a petrol station, and a supermarket don’t forget the organic farm shop at the campsite with a wonderful array of home grown meats. 10th July - Epic Sprint Series - Round 2 of Epic Motorsport three
round sprint series. Each round will start off with the youth class with a
maximum of 21 riders accepted for this class. The youth class will range
from 65cc to 85cc through to the 125/250f. The novice class will follow with a maximum entry of 40 riders and then the expert class will Finnish the evening's entertainment. All classes will receive a one lap practice session, then they will compete in three timed laps of the approximately 10 minute long stage with around a 20 minute interval in between each stage, which allows the riders to take on fluids and do those crucial adjustments. The times from each stage completed are added together to produce a winner,all three rounds will count towards the series but trophies will be awarded at each round as well as for the series. A registration fee of £15.00 is required to secure your place in the series then the following entry fee applies. YOUTH £20.00 per round NOVICE £30.00 per round EXPERT £35.00 per round (PRIZE MONEY FOR THE SERIES) Trophies will be awarded at each round as well as for the series. “Bunts Blast” Putoline 4 Hour Series - July 14th – Pinxton Nott’s. Round three of the rideoffroaduk Putoline backed 4 hour series heads for Pinxton in Nottinghamshire on July 14th. “Bunts Blast” Hare & Hounds XC was a huge success in 2011 and the ride team aim to go one step further for our 2013 visit to the venue. The course will consist of good open going; the track will be cut into the crop fields giving a fast flowing feel to this year’s blast. Woodland sections and old railway embankments will make up the remainder of the lap keeping the technical side of things in check. Sunday 9.00am sees the Youth Class riders running in a 2 hour event, then at 11.30am all adult riders will be treated to a Le Mans style start. Championship battles are now reaching the critical point, with only a handful of points separating the top spots in each class the rivalry will be great to see amongst fellow competitors. There are classes for all abilities, solo 4 hour iron men, or by far the most popular choice is always the two man team class, one rider on track the other in the change over area, both riders share same race number or even same bike, riders must “tag” their team mate to release them onto the course during rapid changeovers. 4th - 9th August - Bulgarian 6 Day Crazy Job Hard Enduro. - Details Taurus Trax have a special package to allow UK riders to experience their first International Hard Enduro at a very special price. The package includes the following. 6 days bike hire. One test day, Prolog, 4 race days. The bikes are KTM exc/xc 300/250's 2012/13 or Husaberg 570 fe, are fully sorted for extreme competition. They have full Hyde protection, a good set of tyres, gps, hand guards, mousses front and rear, suspension set up for the rider. Additional hire days can be arranged. Sudbury MCC - After the success of the first 4 Man Team Enduro last
year the Sudbury Motor Cycle Club are organising another one of these
events on Sunday 11th August 2013 at Tye Farm Great Cornard near Sudbury.
This time the nonstop race time has been extended from four hours to five
hours and as well as handing over the riding bib to their fellow team
member every 15 minutes they will hand over a transponder which records
the total number of laps each team complete during the day via an
electronic timing system. To date the event entry is still open and the organisers are hoping for a total of 30 teams and more up to date information will be available in another seven days. |

17/18th August - Abbey Enduro - Mid Wales Dirt Track Mc & Qc
Ltd will host rounds 7 & 8 of the ACU British Enduro Championship,
also rounds 7 & 8 of the Welsh Enduro Championship. With the weather being so dry over the last few weeks preparation of the route has been full steam ahead, with the team reinstating the woods in both Abbeycwmhir and Red Lion forests. With the short and compact route a success last year the team are sticking with this for year's event, although a move from last year's starting field to the hard standing of Saints Well (practice track) has been implemented. The forestry test of Red Lion is set to challenge riders with the flowing tracks and intricate tree lines. Saints Well test will provide riders with a wide motocross track, with plenty of twists and turns. For all classes except the sportsman class the Abbey test is a short test with extreme elements, but don't worry there's a chicken run if you don't think you can make it! Riders wishing to ride just one day are welcome to ride either Saturday or Sunday, signing on and scruitineering can be held on either morning with prior notice. moved to another new venue. Castle Farm, Wickwar, Gloucestershire is an exciting new up and coming venue. It is easily accessible from the M5 north of Bristol. There are woods, gullies and a stream section. There is a small Motocross track and ample flat parking. The club are pleased to be able to use this track, It has previously been used by Midwest club and ran a Funduro last year. This is a perfect opportunity for riders from the Midlands, Cotswolds, Bristol and South Wales to come and ride with a club which is not run for profit. Running the weekends activities at their World famous Nantmawr Quarry venue in Shropshire will see a Saturday Race experience day (RED) From 9am till 2.45pm followed by the TOUGH ONE's LITTLE BROTHER extreme enduro at 3pm till 5pm..The TOLB now running two months earlier than planned due to the venue's status changing... The Sunday the 22nd will then host a 1.5hr kids race in the morning for 65's and 85's etc followed by the last round of the Michelin Tyres Hare and Hounds series...A 3hr event with a separate two hour race included...starting at 11.30am. This is the very last time that the brilliant Nantmawr Quarry will ever be used for motorcycle sport due to it being sold off and developed in other areas.... Lamb Complex - The format will be similar to previous years with a
few changes and improvements to the 45 mile lap, and 3 special stages. It
will start from the superb all weather Sweet Lamb motor sport complex,
which offers guaranteed hard standing parking whatever the weather. The
course will be a mix of fire road, forest tracks and open hill, with
plenty of spectacular Mid Wales countryside. It will include a few more
challenging optional routes on the liaison sections. Entry fee is £70 and
there will be separate classes for rally, trail and enduro bikes (no MX
bikes) and a beginners class for the new comers/less confident riders. The
beginners class will do the same course, but will be expected to complete
a lap less and will start at the back of the entry so they are not riding
amongst the quicker riders. Course preparations are already underway for this event. After a very successful Langdale 1 with over 180 entries Langdale 2 is set to be another cracking event. The course will be run in a reverse direction to the May Enduro with the addition of some all new flowing woodland trails. The special test will also be completely different from the May event thanks to designer Duncan Raw. three round sprint series. Each round will start off with the youth class
with a maximum of 21 riders accepted for this class. The youth class will
range from 65cc to 85cc through to the 125/250f. The novice class will follow with a maximum entry of 40 riders and then the expert class will Finnish the evening's entertainment. All classes will receive a one lap practice session, then they will compete in three timed laps of the approximately 10 minute long stage with around a 20 minute interval in between each stage, which allows the riders to take on fluids and do those crucial adjustments. The times from each stage completed are added together to produce a winner,all three rounds will count towards the series but trophies will be awarded at each round as well as for the series. A registration fee of £15.00 is required to secure your place in the series then the following entry fee applies. 3rd November - The Rock Oil Helmsley Enduro round 6 NEEC. The north of England Enduro championship returns to Roppa moor plantation Helmsley on sunday 3rd of November. The unique limestone based forest provides a well drained and bog free ride , with all the usual classes from championship to sportsman. With one of the best special tests in the series fully graded and machined ready for action. The start is at high Baxtons farm offering great parking and access to the start area. Bwlchciliau Enduro - Preparations are well under way for the Bwlchciliau Enduro near
Llanafan, Builth Wells on Sunday 3rd November 2013. The track has had
extensive digger work done to it in the last 12 months, levelling out
some of the existing rides and also creating a few new ones. Last year
we went back to running the enduro format rather than the Hare &
hounds style event and this was a big success. The format for this
year's event will again be very similar, with two checks per lap, one
challenging being the out check of around 8-10 miles of forestry going
and the other a slack check for fuel and test. The event is all based in
the Bwlchciliau forest and there is no roadwork so bikes don't need to
be road legal. The track had some nice open forestry tracks, gnarly
climbs, stream crossings, tight technical sections and also some nice
decents, making the ingredients for a good challenging Welsh forestry
enduro. Saying that though, the course is set up to cater for all
abilities, with each class doing a set amount of laps. Last year we had use of some adjoining fields in which we had the test in. This was okay, but due to the time of year the event was held the fields were very wet and it was not ideal. For this year we had sourced a small adjoining woodland, where we plan to have a cross country style test in. This should prove more poplar to the enduro riders and also this test should also hold up a lot better than last years. We aim to have between a three and five minute test. In addition to the normal classes we will also be trialling a sidecar class at this year's event. We had a couple of club members up the wood a few months ago on their outfits to see how it went and the feedback was positive, so we will give it a try this year so we hope to have the support of the sidecar community. As per normal we will have classes for Experts, Clubman, Veterans, Sportsman, Ladies and of course the sidecar class. Late entries will be charged at £10 extra after the closing date so we advise riders to enter early. Regs |

The track is part of the huge Salisbury Plain area its great for all weather conditions with very good access/parking for all vehicles over looking 90% of the course. The track offers open going for the first couple of miles and then the course becomes more technical with some manmade and natural obstacles with hard and easy choices to keep all riders focused, running in and out of wood land with climbs and descents in the alpine areas. .
