16th Jan 2011 – Dirtbike-Traxs return to Butts Quarry - After a miserable winter with the cancellation of the last two events due to the weather, Dirtbike-Traxs are back at Butts Quarry in Ashover Derbyshire to run their final race of the Winter Series before the hectic preparations for the new and exciting Northern Counties Hare & Hounds Championship. The team will be hard at work over the next two weeks to make this event another fun and friendly race with a few more alterations to the course to make things a little interesting. This will be an ideal run out for all those new machines and to shake off those Winter blues. There will be the usual races for Youth and Ladies in the morning and a 2 ½ hour race for the adult solos kicking off at 12 noon, with camping available from Saturday. Round 1 - Shuckburgh Hall - Round 1 is ready to rock on 20th February
originally planned to be at the Military Training Area at Swynnerton but
because they are fully booked with exercises in February we have had to
make last minute changes so now Round 1 will be at the infamous "Shuckburgh
Hall in Daventry" This venue has two faces but after a site visit
this week it was found to be in unusually good condition not as wet as we
thought it would be for this time of year. The plan is to build the track
so that most of the uphill sections and the really bogy bits are out - it
will still be a challenge but that's what Enduro used to be about. Judging
by the reports on Enduro New and in the T & MX organisers are putting
events on in horrendous conditions and venues so Shuckburgh should be easy
in comparison so prove me wrong and book in for Round 1 of the Cotswold
Club Champs which is also Round 1 of the Rock Oil AMCA British Hare &
Hound Championship. So two rounds in one - trophies and product prizes for
each class- three hours of good old fashioned Hare & Hounds racing at
one of the Countries best venues set in a Private Shooting Estate &
Deer Park. A big Thank you to Sir Rupert Shuckburgh for allowing us to run

- Rnd 1 - Driffield (TGOR) - This will be the first of a 9 Round newly
named "Northern Counties Hare & Hounds Championship"
sponsored by Putoline Oils and the North's No1 KTM dealership Eurotek. What ever the weather this is a circuit that riders of all ability both young and old can enjoy. A variety of going from open fast to twisty woodland sections and spectator friendly MX sections this event has something for all tastiest. The large tarmac paddock area which can accommodate over a 1000 vehicles means no worries at the end of a long days racing waiting to be towed off. Free camping will be available Saturday Night for those wanting to make a weekend of it. 26/27th February - British Youth Enduro - Round 1 will be held at a
New Venue of Redhill Farm, Bromsberrow Lane, Redmarley D’Abitot,
Gloucestershire , GL19 3JU. A fantastic New Location never used for Enduro
Racing, the track is put together using a very large bank which runs the
length of the Farm and includes for easy and challenging riding. We will
also be using a large part of the farms other features to put together a
5mile + loop. The Venue is situated only 2 Miles from Junction 2 of the Motorway M50 and is an all weather surface with a large Flat field for Parking and Camping. This is an awesome track for spectators and family to watch all of the action. : Details |

Slow Pete Series - Round 1 - Redhill Farm, Bromsberrow Road,
Redmarley D'Abitot, Gloucestershire, GL19 3JU originally scheduled for
Ashby Moto Park but the Land Owner feels it will be too wet as the land is
lying sodden at present. So a brand new track has been found at Redmarly,
Gloucestershire a predominately sand track so should be all weather, good
parking and easy access off junction 2 M50. The track will also be great
for spectators. On the Saturday there is also a Kids Enduro run by the BYE
Club so make it a Family weekend - the kids can race on Saturday and the
Dads or even Mums can race on Sunday. This format will be used at most of
the Slow Pete Rounds this year so something for the whole Family. The Slow

Friday 25th and Saturday 26th March - Team REME Enduro Training School - Team REME are pleased to announce that they are running an Enduro Training School at Bagshot Test Track, Bagshot, Surrey. This year we are utilizing the expertise of the Rogershill Raceway Enduro Team consisting of Danny Hall & Paul Cowshall. Also on hand to offer their expert advice will be world, European and British Championship rider Daryl Bolter and Julian Stevens. The day will consist of about 4 lessons, split to allow refuelling of both machine and rider with a free ride at the end of the day. There will be hot drinks available throughout the day. More details will be enclosed with your confirmation of place. The day's instruction will cost £65 per rider cheques to be made payable to SEME Central Bank. In conjunction with the Training school there will be a Hare & Hound run on Sunday 13th Mar 2011, this is round 2 of our Winter Series. If you attend either day of the training school, you will receive a £10 discount for the Hare & Hound event on Sunday 27th March 2011 (entry for the Hare & Hound will be via a separate entry form). This is an adult and youth practice plus a beginner’s track. We are
using a large part of our race track (not the normal practice track). A
great day’s practice on offer in the Purbeck Hills, gateway of the
Jurassic Coast, The Practice track will include some of the tracks used
for races, the working of an open cast mine, plus some open going and
woodland. About 2-3 mile course. To take part please email with name,

Saturday April 2 2011.- Welsh Team I.S.D.E. Fundraiser - ADMCC & MWDT will run an Enduro in the Nant Y Moch area near Aberystwyth. It is being run on Saturday as the Sunday is mothers day so after a good days riding you can earn some brownie points ready for your next outing. Regs & Entry form will be published shortly or if you email admcc@admcc.co.uk then they will be sent to you. This will be a round of the Welsh Enduro Championship and the Ceredigion Enduro Championship. 17th April - Fast Eddy 2011 Championship - Round 4 - Butts Quarry, Ashover, Derbyshire S45 0HW - Last years event was a cracker and was very well supported and this season plans to be no different. At 10.00 am will see the XC youth riders starting with a 1.5 hr event for all classes (auto, 65cc, 85cc SW, 85cc BW and up to 150cc) then, at 12.00 pm will see the main adult championship race start for 2.5 hours, setting off around the MX track and off road loops within the site. With transponders timing and sensibly priced entries the fast eddy crew are once again trying to keep the cost of racing affordable to all riders. There has now been no change in the entry fee's at £30 for youth and £40 for adults with no hidden extra's and new for 2011 has been transponders loaned to the riders for each event. The course is in excellent condition and will be run in reverse direction to Round 1 held in March, as always the course will feature approx 6 miles of Cotswold rolling hills, woodlands and water sections. A quality line up of riders have entered and will see some of the UKs top enduro riders such as Si Wakely, Alex Rockwell, Matt Ridgway, Arran Poolman, Jon Hinam & Tyson Maytom-Jones as well as a full line up of club riders. After a great start to the series in February we return to Driffield over the May bank holiday the TGOR team will again pull out all the stops to make it a weekend to remember , this is a circuit that riders of all ability both young and old can enjoy. A variety of going from open fast to twisty woodland sections and spectator friendly MX sections this event has something for all tastiest. The large tarmac paddock area can accommodate over a 1000 vehicles. Free camping will be available Saturday Night for those wanting to make a weekend of it. This race format has proved very popular over the years allowing, father and son, mother and daughters, fast and and not so fast riders to team up and enjoy the 4hrs race. Introduced for the first time at Bolton by Bowland earlier in the year the mini team race for the Kids was also a big hit with the young riders. using a 70 mile lap of trails and hard based tracks around the mighty
kielder forest and northumberland national park , starting from the
tourist town of bellingham then entering the famous kielder forestry
complex, working its way through smailsmouth, the bower pundershaw, wark,
, then heading north before turning towards falstone and the run home to
bellingham ,with 3 special test per day and optional harder routes for the
rider that want a bit more of a challenge. Sunday 14th August - TracknTrail Practice at Scrubs Farm Nr Winchester.- This is an adult and youth practice plus a beginner’s track. We are using a lot of the old track and with a bit of luck the new wheat field will have been harvested and we will be able to add a MX track to this already beautiful venue. The course includes a broad leaf woodland section. The start and parking area is in an open, grass parkland with the course running 2-3 miles incorporating this beautiful area. 11th September - "The Arch" Mountain Top Enduro near Devils Bridge sees the Aber club return to the Arch forestry near Devils Bridge for the Mountain Top Enduro. It is a round of the Welsh and Ceredigion Enduro Championships. The loop sees a lot of new sections with a new enduro test being included. This area has been unused as a test and offers a mix of trees and tracks. The old mx/xc test will be used as part of the tight check and will be marked similar to a test. This technically provides two tests over the lap but only one will be transponder timed. Regs can be downloaded at www.admcc.co.uk where there is also the option of an online payment. | |

- Driffield (TGOR) - This is it the final round of the 2011 "Northern
Counties Hare & Hounds Championship" with many individual battles
still to be settled this is set to be an interesting and competitive event
we welcome our continued support from our sponsored by Putoline Oils and
the North's No1 KTM dealership Eurotek. What ever the weather this is a
circuit that riders of all ability both young and old can enjoy. A variety
of going from open fast to twisty woodland sections and spectator friendly
MX sections this event has something for all tastiest. The large tarmac
paddock area which can accommodate over a 1000 vehicles means no worries
at the end of a long days racing waiting to be towed off. Free camping
will be available Saturday Night for those wanting to make a weekend of

incorporating round 7 of the Club Champs and goes to Turnpost Farm
Wymeswold in Leicestershire. This venue has a full MX Track along with
ridge and furrow fields, open headlands and possibly a section of man made
obstacles. This is possibly one of the easiest tracks on the calendar this
year with a mileage of between 5-7 miles which will suit all abilities -
MX and Enduro riders alike. The venue has ample parking and is very good

RideoffroadUK kick starts the winter events schedule with a visit to Carlton Grange near Helmsley in North Yorkshire. Last used in June, the Carlton plantation was graded and prepared for the final round of the BXCC which was eventually cancelled by the ACU due to lack of entries. The weekend starts on Saturday with a Wayne Braybrook Cross Country Training School, this is limited to 10 riders and is very heavily structured around teaching new, ride easy techniques to Sportsman and Beginners. Sunday sees a Youth race starting at 8.30am running for 90 minutes, this will be followed by one adult race for all Adult classes starting at 10.30am running for two and a half hours. The lap time has been extended since our last visit to include around 3 extra minutes of tracks and trails around the Helmsley venue which have never been used before, this means riders can have a fresh new challenge before the winter weather really bites. Hard Standing parking means no delays for competitors once the finish flag is waved, the course is 100% all weather with no bogs or stoppers anywhere. 27th DECEMBER - TOTAL ENDURO After the very successful extreme
event Total Enduro ran at the end of October, the club get back into
action on the 27th of December with an XC event that will suit all
abilities, Graham Jarvis has designed the course to get the best out of
Westwood’s superb flowing woodland and with parts mx track mixed in to
give the riders a break a 12 minute loop will be on offer. The day starts
early for the youth riders at 9am were they will get 90 minutes of XC fun
with 2 youth classes to suit ages from 8 to 15 years. At 11 am it’s the turn of the adults the event is planned for 2.5 hours with classes ranging from beginners to experts. The venue is very easily located just 2 minutes off the M1 at jnc 36 near Barnsley simply follow the red arrows.
