Kenya on 2 is a new, motorbike enduro event planned for June 2009 in Kenya, East Africa. Organised by KO2 Adventures, it is a social enterprise to raise money for sustainable development work in the area. Details
Stan Young - the veteran Scottish rider - has passed away whilst riding alone in the Italian Alps. He was a top trials rider before moving to Enduro & - amongst his many achievements - he will be remembered as the Melville MCC Clerk of Course who brought the World Enduro Championship round to Scotland in the late 90s. Our condolences go out to his family & friends
For 2009 Tom Sagar and Ollie Moyce will ride Husaberg under the team name of "Midwest Husaberg UK". They will be competing in the BEC, European and WEC rounds plus GBXC, Erzberg and other extreme events.

Derek Little has secured a double championship win for the 2008 season. The 37-year-old Scot has won the British Enduro Championship (BEC) in the Expert E1 class and has taken the overall win in the Scottish Enduro Championship (SEC).
Other News Dirty Harry wins Ellington Ellington banks Ripon hosted a complete weekend of hare scramble action last weekend , the hard working dirtbike-traxs crew had laid on a variety of off road motorcycling activities starting on Saturday with a training academy day with Husky's Si Wakely in charge , running along side this in the morning was an open practice session and for those that wanted to try out the 09 Husqvarnas NTB racing were there with the full range of enduro models assisted by the MPS racing team , at 2 pm on the Saturday the youth and ladies races , on Sunday 2 races took place, Full Report

The organisers of the 66th Cycle & Motorcycle Exhibition in Milan invited some of the best European Enduro riders to entertain the crowds in the outdoor Motolive arena on the 7th November. Greg Evans was there representing Great Britain. In qualifying Greg finished 9th overall ahead of Mikka Ahola but he did not compete in the final which was dominated by Antoine Meo (Husqvarna – CH Racing). Ivan Cervantes (KTM - Farioli) crashed on the first corner but he made an amazing comeback to finish 2nd. Simo Kirssi on a BMW was 3rd. Taddy Blazusiak (KTM-Factory) had to settle for 4th after his transponder began to cause him problems. Mikka Ahola (Honda Jolly Racing) was fifth.

At the start of the 2008 season, Simon Bradford from Llandrindod Wells, the reigning AMCA Sidecarcross Champion was without a passenger, after the retirement of Simon Morgan. Bradford thought long and hard about who to approach and after much deliberation it was decided to approach a member of his own Bradford Racing Team- namely Neil James also from Llandrindod Wells.
