Following on from the retirement of Phillip McLaughlin, Electraction TM
are pleased to announce the signing of Jordan Scott to the team. The
19-year old from Newtownards, Northern Ireland is a newcomer to the sport

Nant Y Moch Enduro - The rain that dumped itself on the Nant Y
Moch area during Thursday night, Friday and Saturday ensured that the
first lap proved to be very tricky with the slack check even taking time
from some riders. A few nasty sections were then cut out for the second
lap which helped. The test proved slippery on the first lap but got better
with each lap. The tight checked proved to be the section that sorted the
results of the enduro with all but one rider losing time. Report

GNCC
2nd spot for Jason Thoms on F.A.R. Husqvarna
Monster Energy/Fred Andrews Racing's Jason Thomas has put in a great
ride on the all-new TXC250F Husqvarna at this weekend's Can-Am Unadilla
GNCC in New Berlin,NY. In a race-long XC2 PRO-LITES battle with the KTM
XC250F of Kailub Russell, Jason lost out by 3.5 seconds after a final
corner pile-up.The F.A.R Husqvarna looked every bit the equal of Russell's
KTM throughout the event,& by the end of the 3 hour race these 2
riders had pulled a huge gap from the rest of the XC2 PRO-LITES field.
Speaking after the race Jason said he was thrilled with the performance of
the new Husqvarna,& delighted to have taken the machine up onto the
GNCC Podium at his 1st attempt. Jason will be back in GNCC action with the
Monster Energy/F.A.R./Husqvarna team again on September 26,at Round 11,The

to announce that he will be competing on a Husqvarna TXC250F in the
last 4 rounds of this season's GNCC Series. The change to the

Salem, Ohio. Jason's new machine will, as usual, be expertly prepared
for the upcoming Unadilla GNCC by his Mechanic, Joey Maurer. There

Sponsors.

TM’s Phillip McLaughlin Retires From Competition
It is with regret that Electraction TM’s Phillip McLaughlin has
been forced to announce his retirement from international enduro
competition due to on-going health issues. After a rigorous winter of
testing and training, McLaughlin entered this season with high hopes
of building on his performances in both the Enduro World Championship
(EWC) and British Enduro Championship. But unfortunately a high-speed
crash during the EWC GP of Spain triggered off a chain reaction of
health problems that later saw Phillip lose consciousness no less
than four times throughout the year. Evident that something was
drastically wrong with the Northern Irishman, Phillip sought medical
help. After many tests and medical consultations with many different
doctors, Phillip was eventually diagnosed with a cardiac problem that
causes him to lose consciousness under a dramatically elevated heart
rate. Regrettably this illness is irreversible and for that reason
alone he has been forced to withdraw indefinitely from competition.
Phillip will continue to be involved with Electraction TM for the
foreseeable future along continuing to expand his suspension and
engine tuning business; Phillip McLaughlin Performance.
Phillip McLaughlin: “Calling time on racing has been a very
difficult decision to make but it’s the only option I’m faced
with. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank those that have
helped me in anyway possible achieve my goals of competing at world
championship level notably my mother, grandparents, girlfriend, close
friends and the Paget family for their support and hospitality
throughout 2009. I’d like to thank Nick Craigie of Electraction TM,
he is an amazing man and his enthusiasm for the sport is second to
none. I can’t possibly thank him enough for the opportunity he has
given me since 2008; he made everything possible for me to live the
dream. Also thank you to those who helped me in anyway, Mike of TMUK,
CCM Racing, Fox Racing, Gearne, Smith Goggles, Rick and Rowly Suitor,
Ivan McBride and Mark Arnott. It has been an amazing experience!”
